I have: The Mighty. Chicken Little. Cathy Come Home. Cinderalla Man. Dirty Love. I want Candy. Die Hard 4.0 Decisions Decisions. (That is not a film.)
The Mighty. This tells the story of a strong friendship between a young boy with Morquio's syndrome and an older boy who is always bullied because of his size Chicken Little. After ruining his reputation with the town, a courageous chicken must come to the rescue of his fellow citizens when aliens start an invasion. Cathy Come Home. The play tells the story of a young couple, Cathy (played by Carol White) and Reg (Ray Brooks). Initially their relationship flourishes and they have a child and move into a modern home. When Reg is injured and loses his job, they are evicted by bailiffs, and they face a life of poverty and unemployment, illegally squatting in empty houses and staying in shelters. Finally, Cathy has her children taken away by social services. Cinderalla Man. During the Great Depression, a common-man hero, James J. Braddock--a.k.a. the Cinderella Man--was to become one of the most surprising sports legends in history. By the early 1930s, the impoverished ex-prizefighter was seemingly as broken-down, beaten-up and out-of-luck as much of the rest of the American populace who had hit rock bottom. His career appeared to be finished, he was unable to pay the bills, the only thing that mattered to him--his family--was in danger, and he was even forced to go on Public Relief. But deep inside, Jim Braddock never relinquished his determination. Driven by love, honor and an incredible dose of grit, he willed an impossible dream to come true. In a last-chance bid to help his family, Braddock returned to the ring. No one thought he had a shot. However Braddock, fueled by something beyond mere competition, kept winning. Suddenly, the ordinary working man became the mythic athlete. Dirty Love. A jilted photographer sets off on a mission to get back at her philandering model boyfriend and along the way discovers that not all love is created equal. I want Candy. I WANT CANDY follows two hopeful lads from Leatherhead trying to break into the movies who stumble upon the opportunity of a lifetime. Frustrated by their arty film teacher (Mackenzie Crook), wannabe producer Joe (Tom Riley) and his talented but neurotic director friend Baggy (Tom Burke) head to London to sell what they know is a script made of gold. Die Hard 4.0 John McClane takes on an Internet-based terrorist organization who is systematically shutting down the United States.
Yeah, well. If I'm going to watch that^^, might as well skip the intermediary steps and go straight to porn. :cheers2:
from the above synopsis, i vote i want candy. i love it when the small guy overcomes the big timers with fresh ideas.
That particular one?...I don't feel it would entertain me at all. Aside from the blonde's boobs, I mean.
Well, Dirty Love seems to be the winner. I want to see Carmen act. First few minutes don't look promising, went a bit art house for a second...oh dear. Edit: Oh, and that cover is a con. She has a jacket on.
Not mine. My brothers next door neighbours. My brother got all the best ones to take the work. I got that lot. To be fair, Chicken Little is quite funny in the begining. Anyhoo, what should I be watching?
