Should this perhaps be in another forum? I have seen some threads in the past about something called poi, and I can't remember which forum I found it in. I'm pretty sure it was in the "Art" or "Fashion & Crafts" forums, but ANYWAY: What is it?

Its arigionally maori word for ball and was a sport of spinning "balls" on rope i guess. These days its done with tennisballs on string, ballts with tails, flags, and fire and antything else people can attatch to stirng
my friend tried to teach me poi....bad move! i kept hitting myself in the face! and if that was on fire it'd kinda hurt im guessing!
