What is the WORST smell you have experienced?

.....I mean, the one that still brings a shudder of horror from just thinking about it........

The frozen turkey that my mother threw away and animals took it out of the garbage and put it in out yard in 100 degree weather.. After about 5 days it was horrible... I would run everytime i had to go outside... It made me want to puke... really really puke like gagging when outside. It was really bad

 

I'm declining answering because I'm eating.

 

spoiled milk or meat and garbage that sits out in heat

I hate that smell more than anything.

 

I used to work with this guy who lived on Mexican food, the hotter the better. He was especially fond of red-hot chili with beans, washed down with beer. Am I painting a clear enough picture? There were days people refused to work with him, his farts smelled like you had fallen into an outhouse in Tijuana.

Nothing smells worse than vomit, IMO.

 

a gut shot elk. why? because it's foul, and there is inevitably someone vomitting in the vicinity. vomit alone i can handle. i have a child, after all. but combined? no fucking way.

 

probably the time when i opened this container in my fridge to see what it was. this container had probably been in there for a good year and it was completely moldy and nasty.

This thread has inspired me to start another.

 

it probably hadn't been a year. usually by the end of a year the stuff int he container is dessicated and odorless. i'd say if it smelled REALLY bad, it had been in there a month, tops.

 

Well it had been in there for a long time and smelt horrible. Stop chastising me
