What is salvia a? What about salvia blue?

You asked a lot of questions there. I'll help you out.

Salvia-A is the active chemical in salvia that causes the "trip" by attaching to the kappa receptors in the brain. It's actually name Salvinorum-A if I'm not mistaken. Salvia Divinorum is the ONLY natural source of this chemical in the world! Pretty neat!

Salvia blue is another species of salvia. Salvia is basically the sage family. Yes sage. That stuff in your spice cabinet. There are SEVERAL species out there. None are the same as Salvia Divinorum. People who use this substance say "salvia" of "salvia d" for short since divinorum is such a long word and tricky to pronounce. Divinorum is the ONLY strain that contains the psychoactive chemical known as Salvia-A. So, other sages are used for decoration (pretty salvia blue), while others are used as a spice. But only salvia divinorum (latin for Diviner's Sage) will cause any effects.

so, what you're saying is salvinorum-a is in salvia divonorum, and salvia d is the only kinds of salvia that produces the psycedelic effect? and salvia blue is only for spicing up the looks of foods or other things?

Correct. Salvia-A is IN salvia divinorum. And yes, salvia-d is the only species of salvia containing it. I'm not sure is Salvia Blues are for eating or not. I know they're used as decoration in gardens because the flower bloom is very beautiful! But smoking Salvia Blue will be totally useless and may taste nasty. May as well smoke a maple leaf. Hope this helps.

Yeah, that helps. I am actually looking to get some salvia, because I feel it is time for me to experience the revalation that is gives. I feel as though I am being led to many psychedelics (ie LSD, Salvia ect.). I know that this is the right thing for me now, because I am being led by another force other than the 'physical' plane.

I would not consider a force from another plane to be a reason to try salvia.
salvinorin-A is the active ingredient in salvia divinorum.

you had better read the user's guide at http://www.sagewisdom.org/

Garbled information is not valuable, and you should note that spiritual readiness is not a force from another plane - that is merely obsession in a different mask, spiritual readiness is a clear inner issue.
