1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

This is how i create my art:
i usually sit there with some kind of basic image in my head, and then i just put the pen to the paper and let the pen take its course in which ever way it goes.
People ask me how i come up with the shapes and things that i do, and how i think of what to draw next, but to me it just comes naturally - i think the images i draw down are a representation of whats in my mind - my unconcious, feelings, ego, 'energy' etc. the drawings help me explore who i am inside.

reccently i've felt detached from what i draw, i can see they have no real purpose. I want to create my be all and end all drawing which defines how/who i am. but it's hard, i cant find that one image that says it all and i don;t know how to find it. maybe i should just keep churning out drawings untill i find it?

The thing is, who you are and what defines you is not static. In essence, every drawing defines you when you do it, then you change and another drawing would define who you are even better- so you draw that.
