Before this year, It had been 1968 for me.... The Band, White Light/White Heat, The Beatles, Oddessey & Oracle, We're Only In It For The Money, Together, etc etc... but damn, 2005 is looking to be a great fucking year, and its not even half way through!

    What about you guys'es?

i would have to go with 2004 actually. I keep on listening to alot of albums from last year. Animal Collective(sung tones), Devendra Banhart(Rejoicing, Nino Rojo), Joanna Newsom(The Milk-Eyed Mender), Dungen(Ta Det Lungt), Iron & Wine(Our Endless Numbered Days).

This year is looking really good as well, a few to name, sleater kinneys new album"the woods" is really good, along with the decemberists "Picaresque". And of course oasis's new album...which i havent listened. I never really have listened to much oasis, only song i have heard from them is "wonderwall".

1967, so much stuff it had. Like velvet underground and nico, the doors, jefferson airplane, pink floyd, jimi hendrix, bob dylan's john westley harding. But then again 1968 sounded a little cooler

Wonderwall sucks compared to almost everything else they recorded at the time, and all of the new album except "Lyla". :p

Wonderwall clearly doesn't do the band justice, its really overrated. The best-of Oasis songs are "Slide Away", "Acquiesce", "The Masterplan", "Let There Be Love", "Fade Away", "Cigarettes & Alcohol", "Champagne Supernova", "Don't Look Back In Anger", "Some Might Say", "Keep the Dream Alive", "Step Out", "All Around the World", etc etc...

    ahaha... :D :(
