Just a little poll to see where people place themselves on the political spectrum

I only made this poll as it seems a lot of people on here are promoting reactionary values.

I find it a bit strange on what's supposed to be a 'hippy' website ...

 

I guess I am ultra left wing... Although I work within the system to make real changes now for people.... I am not waiting in hope for any revolution.

I am a fiscal conservative. I strongly dislike socialism and globalism, and I favor a SMALL government as opposed to a LARGE, corrupt, overly-powerful government.

On social issues I am completely liberal. I believe people should have the right to do whatever they like, as long as they aren't harming others and their property. I believe the government should have no say in marriage -- gay and otherwise -- and other issues of personal choice, ie: drug use.

I don't consider myself a left-winger or right-winger, liberal or conservative. I actually cringe when I hear those words used. I find them to be so limiting and cliched.

I am simply a libertarian-minded independent. I vote more based on a person and their issues, over which party they belong to.

I think the reason this country is so divided in the first place is because people are so eager to throw the liberal/conservative, Democrat/Republican label on themselves, thus resulting in very polarized, group-think mentality with little or no middle-ground when it comes to the collective consciousness of politics.

i dont believe in laws, i think small communities and neighborhoods can take care of their own problems through the will of the people and they dont need a central government to jump into defining what their morals and ethics are... and I feel that the community should not produce products for money, but for the people that live around them, and we would all share what we produce... if a relatively small group of people could run a modern factory, they could produce enough not only for them but for many many more people around them... there is no need to amass large riches and wealth... that only leads to empires and large corporations that ultimately hurt people.

I think no once can really say 1 word to describe them, it's an issue by issue thing, for me though, I guess in general I'd be a mild conservative.

You're poll is a wee bit off, Nazism is about as far from right wing as you can get. They had abortion, state controlled economics, eugenics, and a HUGE government.

I am a libertarian who leans toward the right, I am a firm believer in the need for a military, but i am agianst socialism and most forms of government intervention (i.e. drug laws, gun laws, and high taxes).

 

People hear about this place and decide that it might be fun to come here and troll and or vent their anger at the left.
