I keep going between 68F and 70F. I would love for it to be much warmer, like 78. I do have to think of others living with me and my gas bill though.
the way my thermostat is, it's hard to tell exactly where it's set. somewhere around 70. but it's actually about 74 in here, since i'm on the third floor and heat from the lower apartments works its way up here. of course, i don't pay for my heat here. i usually kept it around 60 and used a space heater, blankets, and layers of clothing when i did.
16c 60f Here, Because Electricity Prices Have Risen To The Point Of Insanity, Many People Just Can't Pay Their Full Bill And Just Pay What They Can Each Quarter, And Just Get Deeper And Deeper In Debt. Many Times I Have Seen Elderly Women Crying As They Hand Over Some Money.... I'll Give You An Example, All The Lighting And Small Appliances Here Run On Solar Power And Batteries, I Only Use The Grid For Big Stuff Like Reverse Cycle Heating, Fridge, Washing Machine, And Bore Pump, And This Winter Quarter Was $777.00, Two Years Ago It Was $196.00. Totally Insane... Cheers Glen.
67 F when I'm home otherwise it set for 64 F when I'm at work. when the temp outside goes below zero then I'll turn the heat up to 70 to prevent the pipes from freezing :2thumbsup: Hotwater
I don't set it to anything in the winter, I love it when it's cold, sometimes at night we still even turn the window a/c unit on. In the summer at this house I think they keep it set at like 60 or 65 I'm not sure.. at my moms house we don't set anything to anything ever because it is way too much money on her electric bill for a/c and her house was built in 3 sections.. so some of its heat relies on oil, some on gas and some on electric
65 to 70 if it's on but we usually have the wood stove lit. so it's around 70-75 in here in the winter.
