Ebay sells human skulls and bones. Several other places also sell them. The majority now come from China, but India is also a large supplier. What are your thoughts?

depends on how old they are, i guess. dave's mom found a human jawbone. pretty creepy. she turned it over, because it was small and showed signs of violence. not ancient, either.

however, when dave's grandpa was very young, he found an anasazi graveyard, dug one up, put it in a bag and brought it home. he came home from school, went to look for his skeleton but it was gone. so he goes to his dad and says "where's my indian?" naturally his parents were all over him and put it back. honestly, very innocent. youth, ancient bones, curiousity, kinda makes it cute and funny.

but stealing bones and selling them on eBay? ew.

I don't think its a good idea, and i would never want to have anything to do with it

when i was doing archaeology this farmer showed us a native American skull he found in his field that he kept in a box. Was not wild about that

I think bones are meant to be burried, even dogs know that.

I have several teeth in a drawer...

I think it would be a bit morbid to keep human remains around. Seriously, would you want to keep this little girl on display?

well, yeah, but what are the odds that the people who are currently "contributing" were willing to do so?

Ummm... buying human remains? No. Keeping the skull of a mortal enemy who I killed in combat? Yes.

    Along with his heart.

I don't know about buying the remains of a stranger online. I think that's kinda weird. And as somebody said already, I doubt the original owners of those bones were willing contributors.

However, a friend of mine has some of his fathers vertabrae made into a chain that he wears constantly. I think that is a much better keepsake than a photo in the wallet.

I can't help but think of the house in the original Texas Chainsaw...and how the props were real bones because it was cheaper to get real ones from India...ewww.

The owners of those bones might just come along for the ride and haunt you until you slit your wrists....

I never heard that. Thanks for telling me.
I'd really like to buy a skull, a radius and an ulna.
    I wonder if its expensive...
