Dream Theater- This Dying Soul Rush- Time Stand Still Coheed and Cambria- In Keeping Secrets of the Silent Earth:3 The Pixies- Where is my Mind? Stone Temple Pilots- Pretty Penny Led Zeppelin- The Battle of Evermore
Radiohead - Treefingers I do believe Treefingers is the trippiest thing I've ever heard, simple as it is. Pink Floyd - Breathe In the Air The second time I smoked marijuana, I heard Dark Side of the Moon for the first time. Well, my mind was blown. But there was something about the opening song I really liked, it is just so damn relaxing and it seems like it was made to be listened to stoned. The Zombies - A Butcher's Tale I first heard this sober, and it still became one of my favorite songs. My Bloody Valentine - To Here Knows When Not long after discovering marijuana, I was introduced to My Bloody Valentine. A friend and I would always go to this park at night. It had perfect lighting, and was really trippy after dark. We'd smoke in the woods, then sit at the park. One time, my friend brought a cd player and some portable speakers, and I brought Loveless. Nowadays the music brings back some fond memories. The Flaming Lips - Feeling Yourself Disintegrate One of my favorite songs. Go listen to it if you haven't heard it already. The Cure - Plainsong I like it. A lot. Led Zeppelin - The Battle of Evermore One sunny day, a friend and i were stoned in my living room (which has a nice view of a a large field and a pond). My friend found Led Zeppelin IV in my parent's cd collection, put it in, and skipped to Battle of evermore. It fit perfectly with the bright landscape outside, and when I sprawled out on the floor and looked at the clouds through the window, my entire house began to spin. Good times they were. Nick Drake - Road Probably one of the most depressing songs i've ever heard. Also one of my favorites.
The Black Crowes - Ballad In Urgency>Wisertime & (live versions of) My Morning Song Rush - Afterimage & Cygnus X-1 Jane's Addiction - Three Days My Morning Jacket - Just One Thing Turin Brakes - Little Brother The Thrills - 'til The Tide Creeps In
Phish - Harry Hood (from the Great Went ´96) -THE definitive moment that turned me onto phish - like, REALLY turned me onto them Percy Grainger - Irish Tune from County Derry -played this song in high school band. it´s so melodious (is that even a word?) and harmonized Smile - String Cheese Incident
All of my love, Stairway to Heaven- Led Zepplin Heroin- Velvet Underground In the flesh by Pink Floyd,( i was stoned) scared the living SHIT out of me. It sounded demonic and the music was messed up!
