Today is the worst day of my life. I failed for LSD in a urine test at probation.

I dosed 2 days before the test... Im probably going to have to go to a court ordered in patient program. This sucks.

 

Dude that is retarded. Im on state parole and they give me the Standard 5. Fucking LSD test in a probation office? What do they ship it to the lab still in New Jersey? Wow.

 

My probation officer left a message on my answering machine tell me that I have to make an appointment at some lame rehab program called touchstones or something stupid like that. I hear they make you shave your head. Im going to fucking leave my state if I have to go to that place.

Can someone tell me please when LSD started being visible in urine samples? This is unheard of to me! I have a friend who is on prob and I told him that dosing was indetectable. Sorry about the incident man, that sucks so hard.

 

It is pretty unheard of, however it's not impossible. It supposedly is only detectable typically anywhere from 36-48 hours, or so people say. And even then, MOST probationary/parole offices I've ever heard of only test for the standard 5, UNLESS you are on parole for drug charges, in which case they may send your sample to the lab but I highly doubt it. As long as you dont give them much reason to be suspicious they tend to let you slide with just a test strip/dip stick test, and the standard 5 at that.
The only way possible, that i can see, for pr0ne to have shown positive for LSD, is if it was lab tested, and by 2 days ago he means he took LSD 2 days ago, not that it's been 2 days since he took it if you follow.

 

ah, so basically you'd have to have a charge that would imply LSD use... typically? I live in a very small town and this guy is just on prob for pot. I don't know anything about drug testing (Standard 5?). What should I tell my friend in your opinion?

 

Well, like I said Im on parole, not probation so it may be different.
Im not on for drug charges though, I have a different kind of felony, and when I go in to the office for testing and questioning I make sure I dress nice, clean my hair and look like a descent, upstanding middle class chump :tongue:
Parole most definitley had random drug testing/home visitation, but they usually tell you a general time frame for the home visit, and the drug testing at random I've only ever heard of happening to people with drug charges.
The standard 5 is
Cannabis
Opiate
PCP
Amphetamine
Cocaine
Every other drug needs a more expensive test, usually done in a lab for more accurate results. For exmample, to decipher from the morphine metabolites that causes opiate positive wether it was a percocet or a bag of heroin, that kind of thing. Or, MDMA or methamphetamine.
You should tell your friend, if the friend gets scheduled drug testing, dont take any drugs within a week of your test. Every drug out there save for benzo's (valium, xanax etc) and PCP is out of your system within a week, even cannabis if it's taken in very small quantites and not abused habitually.

There is actually a drug testing/legal forum in the psychedelics forum, only, it seems that most people dont realize this :tongue:
Another thing I've noticed is that people get WAY too crazy about passing drug tests and end up blowing it by diluting their urine too much, or being overconfident (the other end of that spectrum)
To put it simply, just dont take drugs a week before your test. If you have, or close to it and your concerned, the following steps should be taken and I've had some close calls but never came up positive.
Dont starve yourself to speed up your metabolism, your body will think it's literally starving and will SLOW your metabolism, breaking down your bodys fat instead.
Dont drink alcohol to 'clean' yourself out and make you pee more, the body will take care of the most recent toxin first, so putting alcohol in your body will also slow your metabolism when it comes to cleaning what is already been in there.
Dont eat greasy foods that also slow your metabolic rate. Eat healthy foods, like greens, basically vegetarian food.
Drink lots of orange juice, or cranberry, or anything good for you and lots of water.
And most importantly, at least 3 hours before your test, drink LOTS AND LOTS of water!
By the time you start peeing clear and every cup you drink makes you have to pee within
minutes, your at a good stage. From there on, drink a red bull (b12 and niacin to turn
your urine yellow) and a few more cups of water, go in to your test, and you should pass
by diluting the sample just enough to have the metabolites drop below the cutoff rate.

I am on probation because I had an empty bag in my pocket. I have never failed a test for probation and I have never given them ANY reason to come anywhere close to believeing that I drop acid. For the first time in a VERY long time I am truely unhappy.

 

how can you be sent to rehab for a non-addictive substance?

 

It has nothing to do with if I need it or not. They just want to make me miserable.
