what to get

Should I get a TV or a Nikon d-5000? my mom said she would go in on one of them for x-mass with me, I love talking photos but lately I have not been using my old camera, I guess it would be nice for summer time, and if I go to see my sister when they have that butterfly conservatory

 

IMO get the camera. A tv and a camera are like complete opposites. With one you sit on your ass and accomplish nothing, while the other you gotta be up and creative. Creativity wins. Besides, tv's are pretty cheap nowadays, so you could always save up for your own if you need a new one.

 

why not just do both? Get a cheaper camera and tv.

 

I want a nice camera, the d-5000 is off the hook

Camera. Get out and capture life instead of life capturing you in front of a tv

damn jen that camera is expensive. you should just wait a year and the price will probably be half that, thats how it was with my camera.

get the camera, and get a second-hand television on your own...

hmmmm, then i suggest maybe you buy the camera, if you must have it now... or just wait, and it'll inevitably be priced lower...

Damn, that camera is expensive, but I think you'd get more use out of it than the TV. Go for the camera!

Yay! That's exciting. I would looove a camera like that, but my mom wouldn't pay for something that expensive for me, and I don't have too much money either haha.
