What turns you on?

What makes you feel really good and why? I'm a big fan of the 1960's. I love the music, movies, tv, lifestyle, (somewhat) and clothes. I like how you didn't have to be naked or filled with silicone to be attracted. I like that you were able to talk to a person and have him look at you and not an ipod, cell phone laptop, or other non human object. I like real conversations and how people traveled everywhere. I liked how people could hop in a van travel to a muddy area and throw the largest picnic/ rock concert and then go back home and lie on the beach. I'd would love to bring that back. I'm sure there are bad stuff like race issues with riots, the Vietnam war, and getting hasseled about stuff not being like it once was in the 1950's but you have that every decade. Tell me some things you like and your decade. It doesn't have to be the same as mine and you didn't have to be in it to love it. Just tell me what turns you on about it or anything else you can think of tonight. I can safely tell you that if I had been there it would have been an even more famous rock concert/picnic lol.

That's the cool thing about this post. There is no wrong answer. I just told you some of the things I like but yours could be anything. You could love the 1990's but like clothes from the 1920's and men dressed in clothes from 1775. You can even like 1930's jazz but dance like it's 1975. That's the fun of it.

being alive,my kids,laughing,babies,kitties,women/girls,fast pitch softball,basket ball,50s,60s40s cars,being able to fix things,music,books,travel,air america radio,the South Pacific,aloha shirts,sailing,cruising,philosophising,funny people,women/girls (again)the beach,the woods,smoke ,odd movies,reminiscing and more ,in no particular order.Exept being alive.That takes precedence.

 

Bellfire, I like the same things in your first post, but I remember them from the 70s. Not everyone thought or felt that way, we were the outcasts among our peers just as you were the outcasts among the establishment.

I miss being young. Being older doesn't suck, being alive in a highly conformist, faith-based oppressive society sucks.

ah, but for real now

seeing someone treat people around him courteously - I mean like people in shit jobs, cashiers and busdrivers and such
