    Zawa, becuase it's the beginning of my last name...

    I've had a few nicknames that haven't lasted, that's the most prominant one... I guess I got off easy!

    mine was called lantern because the teacher said the only time my face shined was when I did something to disrupt the class he said my face lit up like a lantern
    that was when I was 12

    didn't really have a nickname


    but if you want to write an umlaut.. and cant then you're meant to just add an e

    Nah, I didn't have one either. In primary school a bunch of us nine year olds decided upon nicknames to call each other. I went with "Brew" 'cause I loved beer :p Not that I'd drank it very often at that point! But only one person, once, ever called me that...I didn't even realise she was speaking to me :D

    A teacher in secondary called me "Crich" - My surname being Crichton. But he knew my Uncle and used to call him that.

    The other kids called me 'slam' coz my name is sam, and i was always 'slamming' off school, do the kids still call it that these days (codger) who are these 'beatles' i keep hearing about anyway?
    Can you tell me jadedragon, what do 'the kids' call skiving off school these days?
