Well personally I think you do something- tell the daughter and invovle the police. If this isn't really happening (which it is possible) then the wife will tell the truth. I am not questioning the behavior but if the daughter hasn't noticed once I find that odd...

As for this situation, does the daughter live with the mother? I mean, if she does, then for her not to know about it would suggest she's probably not in danger, since he is careful not to do anything in front of her. But, she would have to know something is off -- telling her would probably just be a matter of verifying something she suspected as a option, not something completely shocking. It might be more of a surprise if she doesn't live with them, but she still needs to know. She is probably in a better position than anyone else to convince her mother to get the hell out of there, if anyone bothers to let her know exactly how bad it is.

If I were in the daughter's position, & I found out too late that you all knew about this when something could have been done but nobody told me, I would be fucking pissed.

 

i disagree that the daughter is not in danger...as a matter of fact if the daughter doesnt know wht is going on with the mom and stepdad....what does the mom not know is happening with the daughter and stepdad....
just a thought. i think they should be put on the same side of the issue...perhaps they both need to know what is happening to get rid of the forceful fucker.
