Most ppl on this forum seem to hate it big time and I don't know why. If I don't use it my the loose hairs and loose ends will start dhowing more and they'll just look messy. I try to keep them as straight and clean looking as possible and it's hard to get them to stay like that without wax.

I know it's possible but to be honest it takes to long and i'm not willing to not be happy with my hair while i'm waiting.

Here's a little vid that convinced me:

lol 2 replies in minutes! I might try Aloe actually. But I only use a small amount of wax and it doesn't go all sticky and it smells awesome.

Well if I'm willing to try wax I'm willing to try Aloe. I didn't say that wax was the only thing I will ever use I said I use it.

Because there is nothing wrong with loose hairs!!

Tbh (god I hate this abbreviation) I think people who don't like loose hairs in their dreads are noobz @ dreads.

the loose hairs will form into the dreads already there to lock up the roots, they need to move in order to this, your just creating more work for yourself dude

And what do you hope to achieve by asking a question you already know the answer to. The only people pro-wax are people who have something to gain by you buying it. So your basic intention was to propose the question why is wax bad, to people you know are going to say wax is bad, and then try and defend it.

The conclusion is, your either going to have some hard oily tips and lumps which go gross in hot weather, or your going to have to cut the wax out. So please don't try and provoke anymore wax related flaming.
