What's the best job ever?

And why?

To get the ball rolling i'll start with what i believe to be one of the best jobs.
A Psychiatrist.

You get to help people fix their problems. You get to work your own hours, providing you're independant. Great pay. I imagine you'd learn alot about human nature.

The downside is six odd years of university, and getting a score on your final school exams high enough to get in to the course. Also, if you have a weak personality all the problems of others you're trying to fix will start to weigh down upon you and cause emotional problems. Part of the university degree is learning to detach yourself from your patients though, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Good part time job, they don't pay the bills though.

 

athletic director

depending on where your at, might be a lot of work, but has lots of rewards if you work with students in either high school or collegiate level

 

although depleating due in part to satellites and computers but a tower firewatchman out in the middle of a national forest someplace. All that solitude and nature all around, just you way up high above the forest canopy in a small shelter. Yup thats the life.

 

Bar tender. Or maybe some guy who works at concerts and gets to watch free concerts all the time.

Food Critic

 

My job. I am a corperate trainer. I work from home,have an office near home at a school and a desk in downtown set my own schedule, get to develop young staff and hire quality people who will enrich our kid's lives. I get free gym memberships, personal trainers, a car allowance, mileage, a cell phone, a lap top and a pda and they pay my internet bills as well. I get to write a lot too, which I love and everything I write is puclished and trademarked and they are great at citing me for the manuals I write. I work for a great company though, that pays very well for a non-profit. I am going to get my masters but really dont see taking another position when I am done. I just want to get it so I can be higher on the pay scale and have more clout.

 

Internet porn for me. Not making it, just delivering it.
Getting slutty chicks to do all these guys and then sit back on my duff and sell it to horny guys.LOL.
They put in their credit cards to see it, I get richer. Has to be quite profitable, I would imagine.
Only thing is, the free sites, if they do still exist, would run me out of town. Who wants to pay for internet porn when they can get it for free?

i think the best job would be any job you didn't have to feel guilty about anything it might be contributing to. i'm still sort of looking for one of those.

probably, of all things, dishwashing or something else no one wants, because, well the pay is shitty, but the thing is, those kinds of jobs, the mindless repetitive kind, you can think your own thoughts and not have to think some other arbitrary way and have to feel guilty about what it might be contributing to.
