What's the first album you ever got?

The first album I got was in 1994, when I was 15. I bought "Big Ones" (1994) by Aeromsith. Aerosmith is the first band I got into but I didn't listen to their 70's stuff yet, I listened their late 80's and early 90's stuff. They were quite good then, but I prefer them in the 70's, especially the mid 70's. I used to really love the song "Crazy", I remember when it came out, but now I don't like it as much as other Aerosmith songs. I bought "Big Ones" on cassette since it was 1994.

 

Has to be Metallica - Black Album in 1992 or 1993, or Nirvana - Nevermind about the same time.

 

my very first album was "Skunk" by a dutch band named Doe Maar who were insanely popular in the early 80's

my first english lp was Duran Duran's "Seven And The Ragged Tiger" :H

 

skunk was my second! my first was blood sugar sex magik by the red hot chili peppers!

Guns + Roses debut...my brother gave it to for christmas when i was 10-11...cant remember.

 

The Wall when i was in kindergarden, my uncle bought me it for a birthday present.

 

hell if i know...

 

If I listened to the Wall in Kindergarten it would have been a very frightening experience, same as many other music.

 

It was an LP.... "Rock '83"....I was 10.

Metallica - And Justice For All

My sister wouldnt let me listen to her tape so I did a bunch of extra chores so I could buy my own copy when I was 10. I even saved money up for the And Justice For All t-shirt.

 

I dunno the name of the album, but it was by the Spice Girls. *hides in shame*

 

Metallica - S&M just after it came out (I got it from my mom, I think I was 12 or maybe 13)
Metallica - Master of puppets (first self bought when I was 13)
