What's the last netflix movie you watched? Would you recommend it? Last night I watched 'Take this Waltz' and loved it..this is my recommendation. It's a touching and heartbreaking love story and very realistic, I think. Michelle Williams is my favorite actress and she did a wonderful job in this movie. the night before I watched '2 Days in New York.' I personally enjoyed it but could see how some people would be annoyed. If you're a woody allen fan you might like it, then again, you might hate it. I'm about to watch 'Craigslist Joe.'
Last thing I watched on Netflix was an episode of "Kids in the Hall." And yes, I WOULD recommend it. Even though it is 20 years old, this show is still hilarious.
ahh those are shows, though x_x I watched all of the episodes of american horror story on netflix..so creepy, but very well done and I loved trying to figure out and seeing the mystery of the show unravel...
Down to the bone. It was about this cokehead mom in white trash suburbia. It was bad, but what made me stop watching was that after she got clean, she started hooking up with this ex-heroin user, caught him shooting up and decided to snort a line of heroin. As with most movies, they depicted it as it being the greatest thing ever, but since she had never consumed any opiates (at least it was never shown) she most have likely would have been painfully ill throwing up uncontrollably. It's so stupid because these movies try to be all "realistic" and this is what drugs do to you, but at the same time they try to romanticize the drug.
Sister My Sister! I thought it was a good film and I really enjoyed it but I don't think it is for everyone.
I watched "Machine Gun Preacher" and before that "Boy Wonder" both extremely shitty titles though machine gun preacher was a nick name actually given to the man the movie is about so it fits well but just sounds lame imo. Boy wonder sounds retarded and in no way relates with the movie. It was very good though.
The Hogfather is what I watched on netflix last night. Here is a trailer for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cATYdXVj8wo"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cATYdXVj8wo
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Wasn't bad. I enjoyed that Burj Dubai tower stunt sequence quite bit.
Rumble Fish. Mickey Rourke was great in it. So was Matt Dillon in all his dumb glory and young Diane Lane was hot.
The last thing I watched was The Faculty. I forgot how many celebs were in that movie from Robert Patrick to John Stewart.
I have another recommendation- 'dirty girl.' It's one of the new releases. I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed the story and acting. Funny, charming, & heart warming..
Yeah, some people don't want to illegally pirate movies and would rather give money to the people who work hard to bring them something that hopefully entertains them. Some people are crazy like that. As an amateur filmmaker myself, I'd love it if people stole the work that I put my time, money, heart and soul into without sparing a second thought for how that would effect me and everyone else who worked on the movie with me. SARCASM. Just pay for the damn movies. You're really fucking over the creative team behind the movie, the cast, crew, investors and distributors when you don't.
I agree and I think the price of netflix is quite a deal for all of the movies that you get. I've also been involved with working on movies and see all of the hard work put into a production and all of the people involved. Paying for movies is one thing I feel comfortable investing money into. It floors me when someone is more comfortable paying $100 for a cell phone bill once a month and doesn't even question it. I refuse to pay that much for phone service.
