What's the most expensive thing you ever stolen?

Me- back in FL a bmw convertable beamer. It was fun driving it too. Had it for a good enough while. Would park it at the hotel across the street from the dorm I was in back then. I was a smooth dude. How I got it was I had found the keys on the floor at Toys R us. Was about to turn em in but temtation got the best of me. So I went outside and pressed the key alarm botton to see where the car was parked. Spotted it and got in and drove off. Whoa!

a cue stick on a dare, some1 said something about it being impossible to shoplift 1, i proved him wrong, but went back & left it leanning against the wall just inside the stores doors

 

Never took anything that I didn't buy. What did you do after your joy ride? Did you return the car back to the place where you got it from, and put the keys back on the Toy's R Us floor, or did you get busted?

 

Somebody stole my bike and I got busted on the way to get another one. I found the keys in the bike section by the way cause I needed some form of transportation in Orlando. Orlando is like bike capital. It be a lot of ppl with bikes down there. Fun riding mountain bikes. I was gonnna just ditch the car one day but it never got to that point. Lucky for me charges got dropped. I dont know how or why but they got dropped. I'm lucky!

 

I rode bikes in the country growing up. Mountain bikes and 4 wheelers. Horses too. Had so much fun. One horse was a wild girl, but I broke her and she feel in love with me. It was funny..she would follow me around. I would turn around and there she would be. LOL

 

I steal paints whne i was 15, and books, with the guy acknowledgement, i used to buy in his shop, if i didnt have anymore painting to make my pictures, and had no money, he let me do it, some other times when i had some, i will go there and give all i could, he didnt mind, it was like a deal we had, without a word.
I never steal things from others, i dont think i could, the one with the colors i took always made me feel bad. Much later on when i had nothing to eat i rather starve than steel food.

With painting that was different, I had to finish that painting, i was obsessing on it, it was like my life, and books too. Funny enough that was a religious book..
I wanted to know, food for the soul.

 

i think it was a piece of cheese i took once when i was homeless and hungry...oh well...

 

Mountain bikes are my favorites. i use mountain bikes since about 15 years now, use it as alone transportation, never car.

 

They had me on one really young.

 

My sister (when really little) took a little bag of chips. The man told my mom that he saw the door open/close and a little hand getting the bag of chips, and the door open and closing again. This is what he told my mom when she took her back in to pay for it. Yeah, and they thought I was the bad one in the family. LOL

Hm, i helped to steal a $40 David Lynch book... as much as i love David Lynch, c'mon, forty fucking dollars for a book? i'm not much into stealing, though. i only steal little things i can't afford, like if i'm really broke i'll steal a little food or a drink.

 

I stole a payphone one time, along with the 12ft steel pole it was attached to.

 

this probably wasn't too expensive, but once me and a girlfriend got hyped up on blow and stole a shopping cart from a super market parking lot, and I pushed her all around town in it.

 

When I was living with my grandmother and she didn't have money to buy groceries, I would go to different grocery stores, fill up a shopping cart with whatever we needed, and I'd walk out the door with a full shopping cart of free groceries. She always thought I was finding a way to pay for them, but I was just doing what I had to do.

 

well now that i think of it, i guess this is stealling but software.. i definately got alot i didnt pay for, couldnt pay for, needed & just found lying around in a corner of the internet, noone was watching, noone really cared it was just sitting there with a sign on it saying take me i'm free so i grabbed what i needed.

i dont really concider it stealling however, i do pay for what i can when i can, and wether or not i download an illegal copy will not take 1 cent from any programmers because the exact same number of people still will buy it, they'll still get paid the same ammount, just i woiuld have to do without something i needed.

i dont think id really concider that stealing since noones really being stollen from.

 

So because someone else made it easy for you to steal thats different. I don't think so. I stole a toy from a kid when I was around 7. My mom found out and not only did I have to give it back and apologize, he got to come to my house and take any two things of mine he wanted. Lesson must of stuck because I haven't touched someones elses property since.
