what is up with all the negativity on here? i thought this was the Hippie forum! i meen the only reason i looked at the forum is because it is suposed to be a place to meet hippies and talk to people. yet i look around here and i see posts about racism and then people telling them that us teenagers arent really hippies and we are just cliques trying to clame ourselves hippies. how do people here get off on being ignorant, want to be intellegent, smartass, pieces of shit. im not angry i just want a few answers if some one can give me a reasonable explanation for my questions i would like to hear them. i know this post may sound hipocritical because it is pretty negative but i just want to know what is going on. by the way i think it is very ignorant for people that arent hippies or dont even want to talk about hippies in a good manner to waste their time and bother us by their ignorance. thanks, comments appreciated. hans
i totally understand where ur comin frum maan, i'm 15, and i've had people dismiss my opinions becuz i'm young, i think that the older people should be glad that there are younger hippies out there to keep fighting for peace and freedom. and ur rite, this is a HIPPIE forum, we shouldn't be judging people on age, race, and sex. i think that's a little condridicting of the whole idea of this ENTIRE website. but i've seen people come on here strictly just to bash hippies. i totally agree with u man, keep on fighting.
I noticed all the negativity too, which is why I started a thread about it. I assume you've probably seen it. Anyways, I've come to the realization (all though, I've already known this), that people suck. Period. People are not perfect, nor will we ever be. We are a miserable existence, striving everyday, day by day to live our lives, to find something to fulfill our lives. Humans are really well,...sad. And so, no, we can never just "all get along". It's not happening. Because again, people suck. Sorry for the pessimism, and as you say, "negativity", but that's just the sad truth. Not everyone is a nice person. And even those very few are not flawless.

I can't stand the negativity either, but a disagreement isn't interchangable with negativity. But the racist and unrestful comments need to go. I wouldn't say we're a bunch of hippies....most hippies never even called themselves hippies, they called themselves "freaks." We're just a bunch of people who think for ourselves and question authority.
man you just need to chill out man. stop thinking about how you wish people would act and start relizing how they do act so you cna learn to get along with them man.
