Welsh, and possibly Norwegian. But yeah, both my parents are Welsh more or less. My grandmother never met her dad, but he was allegedly a sailor and she never quite knew where he came from.
IDK! From records traced back to 18th Century France, I come from Bruce and an "unknown English girl." Hmm, so the family lineage starts with a bastard? Probably just an assortment of European ancestry from various countries. We assume German because of the blond blue-eyed members but also Choctaw Indian on my grandmothers side. Charlie Crane was my great-great grandfather. My grandmother's generation still showed the Native American features.
My family got thrown out of every country in Europe. I know English, French, Scottish, Slovak (I presume Gypsy since for that Great Great grandmother we found 2 marriage licences, no divorce papers and the last name spelled 3 different ways on the birth certificates of the kids). Spanish (the English part of my dads family were Pirates while they were out raping, pillaging, and plundering the Spanish Pirates came raped pillaged and plundered their village). Native American (not sure which tribe during the early part of the 20th century the Canadian government conducted an experiment to wee what would happen if they adopted Indian kids into "Good Christian homes" and didn't keep records of which tribe any of them came from. My Great Grandfather's nickname was Blackie because his parents and all of his brothers and sisters were blond haired and blue eyed and he wasn't. I wonder what the mail man looked like. That is all on my fathers side. On my Mothers side, English, Scottish, Welch and Wabanaki Indian. I know that a few Generations back we were related to General Ethan Allen. This is the "Respectable" side of the family. Peace Out, Rev J
Norwegian (mostly), English, and some German. My great, great, great (whatever) uncle was Dr. Samuel Mudd. I got an 'A' in show and tell (probably History) with his tintype photo that i got from my grandmother, and the story. 8th grade, i think it was.
my moms dad was german and native american moms mom is polish and czech dads dad is irish and english dads mom is french and welsh
Hello, it's interesting that I don't know for sure where my ancestors are from and that I never ask. Maybe people from countries with lots of immigrants over the last centuries are more interested into their roots? Regards Gyro

Old Pick up line Man to woman,"You got a little Gypsie in ya?" Woman "No" Man "Would you like one?" If you do use this one it is at your own risk. You could get slapped. Or at least a decent laugh. Peace Out, Rev J
