Now you're probably guessing that I'd write can opener. HAHA! FOOLED YOU!! I'm a hippie. What kind of hippie would be using a can opener? Even an omnivorous one would only be opening up the occasional cans of fish. Good coffee and good tea are in sealed bags.
Anyway, I'm into portion control so the "appliances" most used these days are the food scale and the measuring cups.

    Et vous ?

It's a toss up between my kitchen scissors (I use them for everything!) and my pizza cutter. Pizza cutter, you ask? Well it's makes cutting up pancakes, waffles, quesadillas, anything like that, so much easier. And when you've got three hungry children wanting to eat, the quicker you get it served, the better. Q:What kind of hippie would be using a can opener?

    A:One who is hungry?

I am not getting the "hippie" connection here...this is why I never label myself, for fear that the "real" ones come after me with the rulebook...:D

Hippies should use only the FRESHEST ingredients in their food consumption.
And we know once it goes into a can it is no longer considered fresh. It's ... well ... canned !
