Up and away we go, her eyelash flash hypnotizing my boy brain. A hint of leg and I'm heat seeking, honing in on exposed skin, stomach full of butterflies fighting for her calling light. Oh baby! Oh baby! Oh, it's love like in the long ago, when they met to lightning, and the heavens opened up, and time stood still cos it's forever, girl, and we've forever to share our worlds. Drunk at Cookout, at 3am, ordering cheeseburgers and chocolate shakes. She laid back on the bench out front said, "right here, right now, I want to fuck," and you'd better believe it, we did it right there in front of the city's finest. Someone called the cops, but still we didn't stop... just dove in a cab, cried GO, and he drove while we kept going. So what if I exaggerate? We were in love and lovers are lunatics that soon forget the consumed afflict each other with swooning addiction. Even the chaste become comets on fire in the sky, who are admired by all the world watching and wishing them on. Early afternoon and we're waking up, sun coming in angles through the window; and cross my heart, hope to die: those who don't know won't understand that "sense" and "feeling" can't describe the moment you wake up and meet someone's eyes and realize, so this is “it”. The heavens split. Thunder and lightning fall. Time does stop so you'll never forget.
wow that was so beautiful.....and i love it so much...u speak ur mind in such a way that seems the way i think.....and close to the end when u said those who dont know wont understand that sense and feeling cant describe......i know what u meant when u said u cant describe it.....because when ur with someone u love u cant explain how u feel.....its an unexplainable emotion that two lovers feel when intangled with desires and emotions run wild....i hope u plan on writing more...im looking forward to it...
Love, like the Lightning Blast, let's none stand in its way, and moves so fast through the vastness of space, a jolt of Thunderbolt to make the Heart race and give the Undead soul a taste of the Life it once knew, in a World far-removed, when people did not waste time bickering over "what's yours is yours and what's mine is mine," but were riveted by an instinct, sublime and Divine.
Hot & Primal, filled with passionate presence. What a great poem, it comes from so many personal and transpersonal angles, waxing elemental in an expansive way.
