ok so when u began listening to zeppelin did u start listining to their fourth album thenmoved on to other songs? unless u were around when the albums originally came out.
I started listening to Zeppelin in 2001, I think. I didn't possess any albums at that time so a friend of mine played to me her favourite songs. Later, another friend of mine gave me the full discography as a present. Then I started listening to the albums from the first one.
The first Led Zeppelin experience I had was from the Early Days album...just the early days not latter days...any way that day I went to the library with my aunt and I had heard the name Led Zeppelin before and I looked at the cover and I knew nothing about them and I assumed that the guy on the far left was the drummer and I was obviously correct and I listened to this album and got stuck on Dazed and Confused and later on Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and later the rest of the album and finally I got completely stuck on Led Zeppelin Before all this happened I was a person that liked that new rock shit like the deftones and some other shit but after this I completely turned to Rock and Roll from back in the day and the first Zep album I bought was I then IV then Houses of the Holy and finally on my birthday my mom surprised me when she bought me the complete box set NOW I OWN THEM ALL! hahahahahahahahahaha
I first listened to their first album and Houses Of the Holy. The reason was because they were the only Led Zeppelin cassettes in the store at the time.
The first album i listened to was IV, i was like... 10. My father bougth the CD and like many other bands i started listening to them because of my father.
I had never thought of it until now,but I've been listening to Led Zeppelin for my entire life...some of my family are huge Zeppelin fans and because of that I grew up hearing them. I think the first album I bought myself was Zoso on vinyl...then Led Zeppelin II...
I first listened to "Stairway To Heaven" I think in 1999, but I didn't start listening to Led Zeppelin until 2001.
i started listenin to the mighty zep quite some time ago, early 90s is when i got heavy in em and i havent let up since.
I just began earlier this year around January I think. Yeah, I started with either Latter Days or Early Days (can't remember, it was the one with Stairway on it) and then i started moving outwards beginning with the fourth album (my favourite) and moved further out.
the first I bought of Zeppelin was II at a second hand album store one night and then the next night I went back and got Led Zeppelin I. Zeppelin IV was one of the last albums of theirs I bought and one my least favorites. I really only like the first 5 songs on it. Four Sticks, Going To California and When The Levee Breaks don't really do anything for me.
i asked my mom what led zeppelin sounded like. i had heard about them, but hadn't actually listened to em or anything. she gave me the first album and that's what i started out on, then pretty much went in order of the albums from there. that was about 2 years ago i guess.
I honestly started listening to led zeppelin about a year ago...and I know what you're thinking.... "okay this girl's a stupid little teenager"...okay...sure...maybe I am....but I've read so much...watched so many concerts...listened to their music SO MUCH in the past year, that I feel like ive been listening to them forever...its weird...Im obsessed with them...the first Led Zeppelin song that I heard was Stairway to Heaven....I fell in love...I'm still in love with that song...then I started listening to Q107...(a Toronto radio station) and I heard more of their songs...I became more and more interested....I saved up a lot of money and I bought their box set...all the Led Zeppelin albums....I was in heaven...I sat in bed all day on the weekends listening to every single song and learning the lyrics. I had never explored music so much before at all..They became my life..day and night, I would leave a cd playing all night..and in the morning I would be able to wake up to them (which was like waking up and having the whole world in your hands for me). After a while I noticed that on one of my "Best of Led Zeppelin" cds there was this video that you can play on the computer....I put it on and I fell in love with robert plant...with his snug little pants and his little tiny shirt...the hair, the look, the voice...everything....and Page as well...all of them..I fell in love with their IMAGE....Bonham...the grooviest drummer ever..and John Paul, awesomely talented guy...then I watched The Song Remains The Same......and I thought "I NEED to start collecting these things"....and I did....I expanded....it grew...I have over a zillion Led Zeppelin things....Pictures, Posters, printed out pictures of concert tickets...Ticket from the Robert Plant concert that I went to in July, cds, tapes, records....I even drew the Led Zeppelin logo onto my wall....layed out a bunch of pics..and now it's like my shrine.... For sure...this is how I started listening to Led Zeppelin.... Stairway to Heaven got me there...
I was 13 when I frist started listening to Led Zeppelin. I always wanted to lose my virginity to him. Eventually we ended up doing a song together, Down by the Seaside. It was really beautiful, and we recorded it after one take. Then we made love.
5 years ago i found the physical graffiti lp of my dad. (it's mine now, ha! ) so that's when it all started.
