Ecstasy is one drug the government wouldn't legalize that's for sure.

Not because it's harmful, but because it can cause radical change in one's thinking and thus the government loses it's control over that person.

 

exactly what a friend of mine was saying; drugs are illegal because they encourage thinking. The government doesn't want us to be self sufficient and think for ourselves. They want us to rely on them so they can control us.

Just because one chooses to use a certain drug, does not make that person any less intelligent. Stop stero-typing.

Really? Because I'm thinking of famous philosophers right now, and none are striking me as stoners. Socrates, Plato, Agustine, Acquinas, Mill, Marx, Locke, Descartes, Camus, Machiavelli, Sartre, none were hitting the bong daily.

"Oh man, what if each atom is an antire universe? Or what if our whole world is just an atom on some giants fingernail????" doesn't count as smart, philosophical, or insightful.

 

stoners are known for various things, usually depending on personality types. DUmb people become dumber having smoked. Philosophical people become more so after puffing. there is a prevailing wind of absolutism in here when we all know that weed simply brings out the unrestrained inner self.

 

when people stop coercing each other into deceiving themselves, nothing will be unlawful to possess. i don't think a lot of things that people use to alter their minds will exist then, because there won't be a whole lot of need or motivation to escape a reality that is itself not inhibited from being gratifying.

and contrary as that may seem to what we are coerced into misleading ourselves as to what the true nature of sentience or that of our species is, such a day, will, if we don't collectively destroy ourselves first, indeed happen.

How would you know if they smoked herb... i doubt you have actually looked up if any of them smoked... i know george washington did... learned that in school also from my history teacher so i doubt its bs... and was he not one of the greatest leaders america ever had... he was a philosopher wouldnt you say... He was also the smartest leader america ever had if you ask me... read some things he wrote/said its pure genious... if todays leaders would look back at his thoughts america might not being going to shit...

sure xtc can make u feel and understand new amazin stuff... BUT haha!
i know people whove it to clients to make better deals HAHA! it is a mindcontrol kind of drug because you loose a bit your "critical" way of thinking, you are so "positive", and actually you give away more than you should (sex, energy, money etc) and many feel they regretted later when they look back at it.... (osho leader gave for instance x to people he knew where rich, so he could manipulate them to get big donations. He also knew quite a lot about hypnosis, and this combined with x, made him a very rich man!)

exstacy is NOT going to be legal any time soon. it is too detrimental to ones health, not to mention it is a mixture of a million other ILLEGAL DRUGS.

that's true, george washington did grow it, along with thomas jefferson and henry ford. in fact henry ford's model T was made from hemp plastic panels which have an impact resistance 10x stronger than steel, and it was desinged to run on hemp gasoline. and you're right, the idea of a lazy, unmotivated, stupid stoner is 100% steriotypical, probably a steriotype invented by the government to discourage cannabis use. there are people like that, but they are always high.
