I haven't had a dream for almost a year now. They just don't come to me anymore. It's a shame because they used to be the fuel for my artwork, music, and thinking style. Also, I was wondering... why doesn't everyone just dream? Be awake for the things you still love, and then enter a limitless world for the rest of your life? It seems like a great way to live, or not to live...
my guess (for why no remembered dreams) would be trying/pushin to hard to make them happen. (i know that's what happens when i do that. you CAN shape dreams, but NOT by forcing them) the body needs non-rem and rem both. as for not sleeping more often, well when that's all i can do i do. but even the body needs a certain amount of maintainence or it just rots away. there's no reason the world we're awaike in can't be more like the one(s) we dream in if people didin't think other things (like excitement addiction and trying to impress each other) were more important to them then making it that way (which is a silly thing for poeple to think, but too damd many of em still do). =^^= .../\...
i dont have dreams for ages then suddenly for about a week i have a couple a night and some are great but others are just completely crazy sometimes.(the other night i had a dream that me and my friends got chased by an african elephant round a forest?!?)
I think I tend to remember my dreams less often when I dont get enough sleep and/or have to wake up in a rush. When I am at odds with my emotions or out of touch I remember less dreams too. Maybe try and remember them each morning for a few minutes. After a few days your brain will get used to you asking for them.
You do dream guy, you just don't remember them. If we didn't dream, we would go mad. Try a couple of slices of pineapple a half hour before you got to bed. It will stimulate the dreamstate. try it.
