Where do you get your news?

I know all you politically interested people out there must be pretty skeptical of the source from which you get your news. I'm looking for ballanced, factual, non-propaganda news. I realize that this is impossiable for any TV news, so I would think internet news would be pretty good. Anyway, what sources do you all use?

I agree BBC news seems to be better than most US news. Unfortunatly I do not have the time to learn hebrew.

I have been a fan of Reuters for international news as well.

 

BBC news as well. When I need something more focused though on something in America, I got to the 2 extremes, FOX and CNN.

 

The BBC needs to please some of the people some of the time rather than trying to please all the people all the time.

You should try watching News24 for a bit it is truly rotten.

BBC, Reuters, AP.... they're all owned and controlled by the Illuminati. I do use these sources for news from time to time, but I prefer independent and alternative sources. I usually use Google News as my primary source, which links to basically every news website out there, both mainstream and independent.

 

where do i get my news? amy goodman, mike thornton, chamba lane. i believe half of what i hear from them and none of what corporate media has to say. i stoped even turning on the tv news at all sometime before the invasion of iraq when it became obvious that bush was determined to do so, no matter what facts might turn up or concession sadam hussain might make. it was just too painful to watch what was so transparently biased. and so it remains.

i believe half of what i hear through alternative channels and none of what i hear through official ones.

which means i have to recognize that none of us really KNOW all of what is going on but that if we back off from deluding ourselves we can make some pretty damd good guessess about most of it.

The Illuminati... interesting. What leads you to believe that such a thing exists?

 

Well, because it does exist. The Illuminati is simply a conglomerate of the no more than 13 families -- and their many offshoots -- that essentially own and control the world; the banks, the media, big-business, politics and governments here and abroad.

These Illuminati families and their royal bloodlines -- such as the Rockefellers, Rothschilds and Winthrops -- date back to ancient times, and they have always had the extreme power and control they have now, but even moreso now that they operate on a global scale. People are so conditioned that they have no concept of how the systems of control in this world works, and that it goes beyond simply government puppets and such. Something much higher is pulling the strings, and that something is the global-elite, or "Illuminati."

BBC, KVMR, Democracy Now are the main sources i would go to for news. I don't however discredit anything just because of its source, likewise I don't credit it either. Theres bad info in good news sources, and good news in bad news sources sometimes. Cross reference multiple news outlets is best. If there is conflicting info I feel i'm pretty aware to figure out whats true.

 

The Link channel on satellite...they have a news show called Mosaic.. has english speaking news from all over the world...mostly the countries currently getting bombed and what not.
It's their major news stations so it's probably got some gov propaganda just like ours does...but at least it's not OUR govs propaganda.

That is a classic quotation from David Rockefeller. I think this sums it up perfectly, yet people will continue to deny the way the power structure works and that there truly is just a small few that really pull the strings and readily manipulate what we perceive as "reality."

Then occasionally I read the newspapers, but I don't like British newspapers in general... it seems like they focus more on the gossips than on the actual news. And even with the actual news... it seems like there's always this scandalous vibe between the lines. Or maybe it's just me and my paranoia. But maybe it isn't...

The pyramid with the eye is a freemason symbol - not illuminati. The objectives of the freemasons and (the alleged) illuminati are in many cases at extreme opposites so why do people continue to associate the two? Yes there was some historical overlap. The illuminati founder was a feemason and the illuminati used the freemason network to spread their ideas. But freemasons tenants include respect of all religions, strict observance of all laws and strong national pride. The Illuminati, on the other hand, is said to be trying to dissolve all nationality, spread drugs and alcohol and usurp christian tradition.

People who act like experts on secret societies should be more precise when discussing them.

The Illuminati and the Freemasons are pretty much one of the same, despite what you say, and what you have said about the Freemasons is a total misconception according to my research.

You presented info from pro-Mason sites, probably run by Masons, so of course it's going to be biased information that refutes the truth about their organization and its foundings.

I am not saying that modern Masons have bad intentions -- most of them are well-meaning people who are blind like most followers are. But you really have to look into their history to see what they're all about. The same can be said for religion, which also hides under the facade of goodness and well-doing, when it is really just a means for control over the populations.

And you are completely wrong about the symbol for Masonry. This is the symbol of the Masons.
