Where to hang out in Portland, OR?

'lo all ;P.

I just recently moved to Portland, OR from NY. Love the town and whatnot, but I'm having a devil of a time getting a decent, regular hook-up. I've been able to get a bit of weed from coworkers and friends-of-coworkers, but most of them flake out or take like a week to get back to me, and me and my roomie are dry and irritable.

Sooooo, I was wondering if any Portland locals hereabout could tell me where it might be beneficial to hang out for a while and maybe find some wandering dealers, or just someone carrying who was in a generous mood. I've heard some bad things about Waterfront Park (supposedly you get ripped off there), but what about the Park Blocks (across the from museum?). There's always the "loiter in the parking lot of a head shop" approach, but that's kind of a last resort because it kind of reeks of desperation.

whatever you do, dont head out towards gresham. haha. My bf and I just moved to portland too... and we are out more towards gresham... and we can't find anything!

Stay downtown... burnside... the skate park..... parks... saturday market is always a good bet.... I was at saturday market 2 weeks back and I found a shroom hook up with out even looking.
