do you think my bud would last longer/be fresher in a baggie (not small dealer bag, bag from grocery store, think the normal size ones here), or in a small empty vitamin container from a drug store, you know, the orange ones with the white child proof lid
bag from the grocery store? do you mean a plastic grocery bag? if so then the pill container is the better bet. But I think you were talking about sandwich bags from the grocery. mmm sandwich. But if this is what you were talking about then I believe it is a personal choice. for years, i solely used baggies to store my pot. and then a couple years back I began to use empty pill containers sometimes. now I store the majority of my stash in a larger ziploc within some tupperware. But I carry 1-2g with me in a small pill container. I believe that a normal ziploc V pill container, does aboutthe same job.
I don't ink pill containers are air tight? Not sure. Empty film containers work well for smaller amounts of bud though because they are air and light tight.
i think you are right, but many are fairly air tightso if its a small amount it ain't a huge deal. I personally do not like film containers...I find the lid comes off far to easily when it shouldn't
I ain't got a clue about the sandwich. It wasn't mine but it does look good. I got the images, just like I answer almost all of my questions. GOOGLE!!!
best way to store your bud is in a canning jar or one of those jars at a head shop with a cork. The jar works the best when it is filled up with bud. When its in the jar it goes through a magical process called "cureing" its hard to explain how it works but the longer it sits in the jar the more potent your weed will become and the better tasting. Im also intrested in the effects of freezing your buds, i know when doctors give their patients medical marijuana they tell them to stick their weed in the freezer, i guess it stops the break down of THC.
freezeing anything just tightens up the molecules. in the cold, molecules moves faster, and therefore the molecules give less "space" in between. the closer the molecules the harder for diseases, germs and such to get onto or into the substence. I dont know why freezing bud would be any different.
Well obviously you understand basic freezing and contraction. What happens when you freeze water boss? Oh yeah It expands. When you freeze the buds with a bit of moisture boom the walls burst. having an effect on the quaility of your weed. There is no reason to freeze it.
