First define indie for me.

 

Indie is a bit of a broad term and it has some negotiable grey areas that hardcore hipsters fight about and get ticked off at. I like the term because it is so ambiguous. To me it defines a large open set of artists that either are not signed to a major record label or that rely primarily on the internet to spread their music. It includes artists that are more "do it yourself-ers" than "lay back and do it for me." These artists can be from any genre.

 

Perhaps indie-pop, but I prefer Pacific Air...it's LESS wimpy than the other band
