Whitney Houston is Dead

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Whitney Houston , who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown , has died. She was 48.

Sorry not a hoax Whitney Houston died 11/02/2012 I am sure we can all recall at least one romantic moment in our lives with her voice playing in the backround.. R.I.P Whitney and thanx for all the memories

 

Her type of music was not my bag but she was one mighty talent. Too soon.

The fact that she spent her final night living it up suggests that if the death was of natural causes she went out the way most would want to go... not heart-wrenching decline because of fatal disease leaving surviving loved ones exhausted by the protracted grief that comes from witnessing such a thing.

My guess would be that some old demons caught up with her. So few of us people seem capable of handling fame very gracefully... which keeps the paparazzi and tabloids happy and in business.

Not sure of the circumstances so this is probably wrong fo me to post wright now but here goes anyway. The real tragedy is she has been robbed of her life and the world of a true talent because she could not handle what she was into, like so many before her I think the pressure of fame killed her. It is funny how humans often crave what is most harmful to them. And I often wonder why we never seem to ask for help when we need it the most.

Whitneys memory will last decades to come mainly in Idol type shows where the contestants butcher that song

 

I think she married the wrong guy. It's sad. She probably could have live another 40 years.

 

I find myself incredibly saddened by this. Yes, she was seen out a night or two before her death and her being "all messed up" was not part of anything reported. :sunny: I'm glad she had a last night out with the girls, free of that mess she once married.

Even tho' her "demons" were well-publicized, I'm a believer in when it's your time, it's your time. But anyway, I just hate this...some of the most precious, wonderful memories of my life have her singing in the background.

RIP Whitney, of unequaled voice.

 

Sorry to see Whitney Houston leave us, she had a great career in front of her. She had a great voice ,sure going to miss her. She was like a sun whose rays reached us all. :sunny:
