Who besides me has deleted their Facebook Acct.???

Thanx to Voice of Truth, redhawk and several others a few minutes ago I deleted as much as I could on my facebook account. I then deleted my account.

I wish I had of listened to my gut feelings about sites like this and never of signed up in the first place. Live and learn.

I am curious who else has deleted their Facebook account due to recent scary, unconstitutional??, scary reports of alleged underhandedness by Facebook? :cuss::banghead::dupe:

 

I wasn't aware until a couple of days ago that your facebook could actually be permanently deleted. Someone on this site told me how to do it, actually. I'm probably going to start deleting it tonight. Its a complicated fucking process to delete....I feel like its going to be a giant pain in my ass and I'm going to be cussing at facebook before the night is over.

 

Ive only had rouge accounts.. havent accessed them in least a year..

 

not sure what rouge means but my accounts there are fake names...just like all websites I visit

all most of them have is an ip address and tons of true fact posts mixed in with tons of bullshit ones

 

I'm going to go and delete everything I posted as well. All those photos of trees and rivers I took, and the ones with me in them man if the FBI get a hold of them I'm done for.

if you want to delete your facebook account - i'd remind you that on this website also, after a while

you cannot delete or change your posts. they are cemented onto the internet forevermore.

 

Havent deleted it. Probably wont, if nothing else is good for someone thats lost track of you ages ago and wants to get in touch.

But am pretty much over it, god some people post some useless shit on it.

And yeah, the photos of trees and crap in peoples albums - yawn

even if you do delete or edit...the record is still there ..its just hidden from public view

unless you click the "physically remove" option..then I think its gone forever

 

...and if you're going to attempt to lick them, it's best to use someone else's tongue... so to speak... lest they lick back and not get the taste of red herring.

 

Thats one thing about this site thats always bothered me.

 

I haven't deleted mine, and I probably won't, as my real full name isn't used and I've never accessed it with anything such as facebook mobile, which logs your phone number, and I've never allowed it access to my address, plus I'm not really worried about the 'government' watching me anyway, it's not really like I do anything illegal or anyone is out looking for me (that I know of?) so it's a huge 'whatever' for me, I guess until that day that I just get bored of it and delete it.

My tree photos are quite good actually. It's the people who post endless photos of them drunk at parties that kinda bore me.

I probably should delete mine and I might as well considering I haven't touched it in over a year. I logged on again recently because my marketing team insists upon using it as a communications tool. I logged on recently for that reason alone.

Aside from that, I remember back in 2005 when facebook advocated privacy and it was small and only available to college students like me at the time. They truly lost their way. The reason why Fuckerberg is so rich is because of his joint conglomerate with the CIA to distribute all his user's information to advertisers and terrorist watch-lists. Seriously.

Facebook was the better alternative to myspace. Myspace had spyware inducing banner ads which wanted to trick their users into giving out their credit card information. Plus it looked like a fucking flea market. Because they allowed unprofessional web designers to design their own pages with their own favorite crappy band playing in the background unexpectedly.

Now they're all wishing they had done the same.
