it seem that everyone is bitching about how bush is evil and does all this injustice but, so far other then complaining no one has done shit, this country "is" a rebublic (it isnt a Democracy),people forget they actuly can vote, and as far as i can see the government now knows that people forgot that. The government has become so large and compelx and pointless there realy isnt much people can do. Why do people put everything on the sholders of the person they elected and not themslefs everything is bush's falt but its not yours, your the people who put him in office your the people who vote in the judges and everyone else with a office, then when shit goes wronge its not your falt its theirs people dont want to be resonsable for their actions, bush lied but who its getting him out of office who is trying to change this government. Im starting to get pissed at people who fear the police, they protect and serve you and for some reason everyone sees a cop they act the way there suppose to,i just dont understand why people cant change things, i also think that the world is torn by government and religion some say america is the best country, some say the only way is facism, why has the world become so riped apart?
(i belive in socialism (anarchy), i am pagan,i think people should be able to use drugs if they want as long as they dont hurt other people,so far im just a 16 year old questioning why the world is so fucked up,and why people just seem to add to the madness, and i why i cant just live my life)

I think what a lot of us are pissed off about is although we can vote, with someone like Bush in office you may as well stay home if you don't vote for him. This administratiion is particualy disrespectful of public opinion, hell even world opinion for that matter.
Believe me, some of us are doing all we can to make sure Georgey Boy doesn't get a chance to hand over America to the North Koreans before he wins his 3rd term by keeping this 'resistance to extremism' thing going into 2008, but I don't know if we'll be able to. He's already bought off a lot of important people, as they have him. Why is the world fucked up? Mainly greed.

even the least bit of research will show that the last two elections were rigged and GWB didn't win either election.

i mean really, whats the chance of that "man" winning a real, untampered election twice, let alone once?

"In 1940 President Franklin D. Roosevelt won an unprecedented third term by a margin of nearly 5 million: 27,244,160 popular votes to Republican Wendell L. Willkie's 22,305,198."
"The Democratic party broke the tradition started by George Washington and nominated Roosevelt for a third consecutive term, because the major issue in 1940 was the overshadowing threat of World War II. "
"Although Willkie did not disagree with Roosevelt on foreign policy, the country chose to stay with an experienced leader."

I just have a sneaking suspicion this precedent has been played out in Rumsfeld's head :)

basically what I'm saying is that the knowledged and freedom-loving citizens of America need to take up arms against the government in order for there be any kind of large-scale change. there's not a lot of protesting going on, but even when there was throughout the late 60s/early 70s, nothing really changed at all until people started fighting back physically (draft being stopped, troops being withdrawn from vietnam, etc)... and thats not even a lot.

you also said that "more than half the country voted for bush".. perhaps you should stop watching cnn and do some research of your own.

Would it surprise you if there was some kind of law that was passed shortly before the election that stated "during times of war, elections are postponed" ?

The Bush administration has mentioned this in the past.

Honestly I forgot all about it. Unfortunately so has everyone I've been discussing it with evidently, they've never mentioned it until now.

Shows how much the common man knows about his country huh? I'm going to have to start paying attention to what these politicians are doing :D

this is what im talking about learn your rights, learn whos in controll, you are. See man my dad is a total polictcal freak hes uber republican not the jesus freak kind, the middile aged working BBQ in the back yard drinking by nooon hunter types and he always talks politics and im a anarchist so we always debate shit,he told me sence i could understand government that the people controll the country and the people are the ones who can change it even to this day he will randomly walk up and ask who runs the counrty and when i say the people he says damn stright,i think people should disscus where the country is going,in middile school i actuly kept the decration of independs and all the andmendments in my back pocket.

  17. which changeged the scope of the constitution, term limits actually are unconstitutional, you can change certain things, but vchanging the scope is a no-no

bush gets justices that realize that and his ass has a third term

    and the reason we're dissilusioned

    THE STUPID PEOPLE OUTNUMBER US!!!!!!

think about it, best case scenario he got elected twice semi legitimatly, worst case scenario, rigage and it doesn't matter anyway.....

Yes I realize I'm in control. But there are a lot more people who have more money and power who are in control than me. I can control some things, and I would be happy with that. What bothers me is, when people I know who are also in control want to do the same thing I do, we find it impossible to do it, because of these other people who happen to be in control of the people who are in control of the people who are ...... etc.

I was sure when I voted, knowing that everyone I knew wanted Kerry, and seeing that cell co. pre-poll or whatever it was show Kerry leading by over 70% that although Kerry may not be the most competent leader we ever had, we would at least be rid of one of the most corrupt.

But wasn't is amazing how Florida and Ohio narrowed that lead to a 1% loss? Florida I expected, but Ohio floored me. Since that day I have stopped corresponding with any state legislators or representitives. Whatever I had to do I went knocking on Federal doors. Naturally I haven't been able to accomplish a whole lot, but until the administration changes I've about given up hope anyway.

And not too many people seem to think too much about it around here any more, but I thought it was odd, almost un-politician-like, to concede a presidential election when he had a 1% margin. His reason was the country needed to get on with the issues at hand, I never bought it. It would be less surprizing to me if someone in the Bush administration had one of his family members, bank accounts, or whatever was endeared by him the most held hostage until he made that announcement.

Regardless, it's too late now. I fail to accept Bush was actuall put back into office the second time by the majority of the people, and will dread the day until it comes he has a chance to screw over the American people for another term, reign, or whatever it turns out to be.

BTW thank you Soulrebel and Quest techie for preventing me from looking like a complete asswipe :)
