NOTE- please dont mention nixon or either bush's. im gonna go with woodrow wilson because his wars in latin america killed more people then hmmm... i dont know which president's have that beat.- not many. all of his wars were based on lies *hmmm, i know, not uncommon* and many people didnt even know they were going on. ps- yeah, i had originally had the wrong president name in there... dont ask me WHY or HOW i got wilson mixed up with hoover.. but in any case... more of the reason i picked wilson is because during his term the u.s. intervened in latin america more then any time in history.... in mexico, haiti, the dominican republic, cuba and panama.... while also controlling secretly, of course, russia's civil war..... which very few people even know about.
i was listening to america the book yesterday, and it mentioned who the worst american president was, but i dont remember the name. nobody i really heard of before. though, it didnt really mention why they were the worst president
haha that book by jon stewart? haha. i read that book in like an hr. at the library but i dont remember who he thought it was.
Woodrow Wilson: the President who brought us the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, effectively selling the country out via his advisor and mentor, Colonel Edward Mandell House, to the British banking elite. Following that would be a tie between FDR and Clinton. I think most, if not all of the US Presidents of the past 50-100 years could easily make the list. HOWEVER, with all that said, my opinion is that all presidents are just figureheads and don't hold the extreme power most people believe they possess.
I think the more difficult question would be which president has actually been a good president, and not sold out or commited treason.
FDR was also one of the key people behind the creation of the communist United Nations, a prime vehicle for World Government, which formed from the ashes of the manufactured second World War that also gave birth to the State of Israel.
I forget his name, but the one who walked to his inauguration in a chilly winter storm and caught pneumonia and died a month later.
Eh no it was more a refference to his little interferences and destruction of and welfair and public services.
He was a better actor than Carter was, he was better at playing the leader, but the economy was terrible during the early to mid 80's. I'm not sure it was any better at all than the late 70's. He got his grandstanding moment at the Berlin wall, and that causes people to look back at his era with rose colored glasses.
If we would have kept to Carter's energy plan we would not be having all this trouble today. Besides, he was a lame duck president who was facing a hostile congress, there wasn't much he could do.
Were there ever any good presidents? Teddy Roosevelt is probably the only good one in our history. the guy was a champion for the common people and the enviroment, also foreign policy andrew jackson or jefferson andrew jackson is probably the worst that i can name. the constitution came second to his opinions. sure he grew up poor and was orphaned, then a veteran, but he ignored the Supreme Court in Worcester v. Georgia and forced the indians off of their lands. also, his pet banks caused the Panic of 1837. jefferson just because he supported slavery. that is pretty much it. also his economic policy was a little screwed up. stopping trade with england would only cause more problems in the north. It wasn't just that. john brown at harpers ferry and "Uncle Tom's Cabin" also were large contributors to the civil war. he was a jackass for not wanting the end of slavery in the south.
