i miss the good ole days of bands like Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots.​

What is your theory on how grunge was killed, not just the music but the clothes, the attitude and lifestyle in general????? ​

PS: Grunge killed itself. Nirvana blewup with Kurt Cobain's face, Pearl Jam rejected success, Jane's Addiction didn't put out a conventional album for over a decade, R.E.M. was too shaky, and the rest seemed unfit for or rejected fame and huge success. The most successful (and in my opinion, the best) band of the early 90s alt. movement was Smashing Pumpkins. Who else celebrated such success for so long? Who else had the fame along with the integrity?

i saw the smashing pumkins for my 13th birthday, they put on a wonderful show but Billy seemed like a stage hog, maybe with a little EGO problem. i know grunge isnt completely dead, there are still some undergrounds bands but i just miss it..................​

Corgan is one of the most under-rated guitarists of the 20th century, especially considering how much success he enjoyed. Although Jimmy Chamberlin was still the best musician of the group.

 

Billy was bad ass, i guess he earned the right to have a huge ego. I am a D'Arcy fan tho, she was hot. But so was the chik from Coal Chamber, guess its really just about any cute chik who can play an instrument Bad Ass................

Untrue. Courtney Love's current stupidity has been all over the news.

Is Frances still under her custody? If so, our justice system is useless.

 

It still lives on in people like me and my friend JJ. We're stuck in '92. and damn pleased about it.

but i guess for some it is good to die young and famous, then your glory lives on forever. i think it makes a lot of stars more famous maybe even a legend. it does wonders for junkies, Sid Vicious for example, the murder of nancy and his overdose made him extremely popular with teenagers

But seriously, I don't think I would change it. I mean, it is what it has to be. I can say I'm happy with the way it turned out then. I'm not happy with the way things are now, but then, I think it all worked out as it should have.
