For crikee sakes where the ef is Stephen Colbert?!!? I would reptively vote for him over and over again if he was on the list Everyone knows we need a comedic president who knows more any bimbo president to have ever been in office. So my vote goes towards him...I can't believe I voted o'Bama
If everyone running for President was include that would be a long list. If I were to vote for a female President it would definitely be Christine Smith.
For all of you who voted for Clinton, I think your just voting not-republican, which is pretty sad when this is first there is a major party good choice. There is Ron Paul you know. Also, Clinton will not do things like allow the re-legalization of cannabis by the people by vote or even state legislature. Google Ron Paul.
Ron Paul isn't the only genuine one. Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel are as genuine as Ron Paul. Mike Gravel is by far the best candidate. Most of the other candidates have terrible voting records, and have been caught in multiple lies, and are known to be pretty insane. The sad thing about all of this is how candidates like Gravel are overlooked, and are overlooked because they're seen as 'irrational idealists". The idea of peace has to be sold to the common man, and so far not many are buying it, and they aren't buying it because people are too cynical and irrational to understand that peace can be acheivable - Realists aren't "grown-up". If anything, they're going backwards in growth -- I would consider myself a realist with ideals, that strives to bring my ideals in a real-world environment. I can't believe anyone would vote for Hillary... sure, her platform seems great, but it is meaningless if she has no intentions to carry anything out. She has been known to: Take a lot of money from special interest groups/lobbyists, lie, and to hardly ever follow what she preaches. If she had it her way, she would be in Iraq well beyond 2013, and I'm not just pulling this out of my ass, either; She has said this before, and you have to wonder what her motivations are. Takes money from special interest groups that profit from wars, and at the same time doesn't want to pull out of Iraq... interesting... And as the above paragraph, you can say the same about pretty much all of the candidates... yes, even Obama. I am not blindly attacking these candidates, and I am not some stooge that is here just to bad mouth great candidates. All I am doing is warning people that the people that they think are great are in actuality terrible, empathetic, people, and that you should rethink voting for them. All I ask is that you keep an open mind, and question everything... even what is being said by your candidates and especially the media. Use your intuition, as well as evidence, to figure out which candidates are corrupt politicians. Please? I'd be happy if the following became our next President: Mike Gravel/Dennis Kucinich/Ron Paul/John Edwards Please consider this - This is probably one of the most important elections in this nations history. Congress just passed a bill that can pretty much give the government the power to arrest anyone that talks bad about the American government, and this bill is called: "Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act (H.R. 1955/S. 1959)". According to this bill, I can be arrested, and so can Pressed Rat. But you can say, "Well, it won't be used in that way." And all I can say to that is, no government should have these powers, because it is only a matter of time before it is used for something other than it's intended purpose. But you say, "This is a republic, and our system was designed to withstand any internal attacks". And I wish you were right about that, but the truth of the matter is, every government can be destroyed from the inside. All it takes is for the corrupt to find loopholes in the government and abuse it; No government is immune.
I don't see what the big deal about Paul is when Kucinich is much better. Kucinich is about as close to a Green as you can get without an actual Green. Paul is anti-choice and against any forms of government programs for the poor. His economics would lead to an overdrive in monopolistic behavior. Yeah, sure he is a SOCIAL liberal in SOME areas and that is great, but overall, he is still anti-choice and pro-consumer capitalism (which is marketed and controlled by BIG business monolopies and their government cronies).
