I'm not a vegetarian however I do have a new addiction to the local whole foods market. (everything is organic and extremely good to the tummy!!!) I stopped in there the other day and picked up a few chicken sausages. I'm thiniking of making some kabobs with these by cutting them up. However, I was wondering what kind of veggies are good for the grill. I don't like peppers or onions and I really have no idea what else to use except for fruit!!! So, any ideas for vegies I can use? Can you pup tomatos on the grill and have the hold together well? Also, keep in mind that it has to go with chicken! Thanks guys!
    Blessed Be

veggies on the grill -anything goes, really. Tomatos work really well as part of kebabs, especially cherry ones. Zuchinni/courgette is great to, as is scallopini. Eggplant is another yum one.

Not to sure about what would work with chicken - haven't eaten it in years - cooking-wise though, as the veggies and meat would have different cooking times, you could make a batch of chicken ones and a batch veggie ones, that'd simplify stuff. And you can always marinade the veggies for a couple of hours in a sauce that would match the chicken...

deliciousorganics.com delivers locally to my home. The produce is so much better than Whole Foods and the delivery people are very nice and will even unpack my groceries if I want.
