Why And How??

Just wondering because i bought some Dr.Bronners Shampoo (magic soap) today.
Why do you dilute it, and how ?

 

People dilute because if they use it straight it can leave their hair feeling weird. As bronners is pretty strong. To dilute it you do 1 part bronners to 11 parts water. So 1 cup of bronners to 11 cups of water. Doing this has helped people avoid getting that weird feeling.
However I think Amy was saying that she just put straight bronners in her hands, lathers up and lets the running water dilute it as it goes. Different people have different ways. None are really wrong.... just depends on the persons hair/water

for some people, straight bronners may burn or irritate the scalp. i find it easier to use the bar on my scalp than to waste my time measuring and diluting:cheers2:

 

Even diluted bronners burns my ballsack, and don't wash your arse with the peppermint either, unless you like that sort of thing.

when i use dr. bronners i dilute it cuz if i dont it makes my hair feel like i washed it with vegetable oil

 

Yeah i just tried it out! its pretty good, i diluted it and also added a little bit of salt to it

btw, so the people who dilute it...do you dilute a new lot each time or is there anyone here who just makes like a massive diluted batch in a coke bottle to keep for months?

 

i make a batch to last months probably in like a one liter bottle or so

 

i dilute only enough for what im gonna use at the time
