Why are all guys like this?

In high school I never gave any guys that were interested in me a chance because I always felt like they were just going to use me.
Once I started college I wanted to be more open minded with guys, but what I was scared of in high school is exactly what happened to me in college. The 2 guys (and only guys) that I have given a chance have showed me that they never wanted to get serious with me, and they just wanted to use me.

Are all guys like this? I'm scared that I won't find someone that will actually want to be with me in a relationship and not just want me for my body. (The last guy that used me was only into me for my body. He didn't even care about my facial features! The only thing he was interested in was my legs!) I'm only 19 and both of the guys that I gave a chance are a few years older than me, so it's not like they were still in their horny high school years.

 

Unfortunately most people will take from us everything we allow them to, without feeling guilty about it. Humans in general are greedy by nature.

Do not give what you don't want to. We all determine the way people treat us.

 

Although I can understand why it would seem so after it happening twice... apply a little logic to this.

You were with 2 guys out of approximately 3 and a half BILLION on the planet...

Both guys were likely from the same area (unless you moved)...

Both guys were young (Just because they were out of high school doesn't mean they were finished being horny.)

To top it all off, from the way your posts sound, you seem to think you are something special.... (gave guys a chance, just wanted my legs/body)...

There are also 3 and a half billion women (approx) on the planet.

Now put all that together and think about it for a while...

 

Ask my lovely sweetheart of 4 and a half years why all men are like that. Or should I ask her why all women are man-hating sexists?

 

There's some nice guys out there , I got lots of great guy friends that wonder why some girls are users , or whatever.......you just met some bad ones....keep looking

 

Most ,if not ALL men remain virile until old age and want to have sex until the day they die. (just ask me). Nature has wired us that way. You didn't mention if you had sex with them,but I assume that maybe you did and got ignored afterwards??I think you know that all of anything is not all of something. You need to know with whom you are dealing in any relationship and that should--heavy on the SHOULD--take some time. We all take chances in relationships--just don't assume much about anyone until you know them well.

 

It takes a few tries to find the riht partner. This will include sex, some good, some not.
Not all guys are 'the same', as not woman are all'the same'.
Try to find a guy that has similar interests then you befor you 'do it', so there are other issues than just pleasure.

 

Hate to be an ass about it but, yeah, 8/10 guys are like that.

 

8/10 (American) girls are ditzy superficial sheep -- doesn't mean they all are, or you'll get anywhere assuming they all are.

Thing is OP, you gotta keep your head high and don't give up. See past the bullshit.

in high school i never gave any trolls a chance, because they would just make a list of ridiculous questions they read in the forum archives and go through posting new threads asking each question even though some of them just didn't make sense coming from the same person. then in college i fed a troll, and the same thing happened. are all trolls like this?

 

Yes. All of them also have terrible spelling and grammar.
