Why are sharks so scary?

Is it just me, or are sharks the scariest animals on earth?
I get scared shitless just getting close to my monitor when its got an image of a shark on it...so damn scary looking..

lovely? their mouths are always bloody and gross

 

sharks are nothing to be afraid of. they are gentle creatures.

Sharks rarely attack people (unless the mistake you for something else)

 

k, but theyre still scary as fuck. I mean, can you imagine swimming under water and seeing one? wouldnt you just flip out? Theres no reason they should look like that.

 

i've swam with sharks before...its not scary.

 

I have swam under water and seen a couple while diving, lovely creatures.

 

it something about their always opened mouths and their blood red gums with their razor sharp teeth..

 

even the great whites? those are the ones im most concerned about

They will only eat you if you despratly provoke them to or if you really resemble a seal.

 

Sharks are fucking amazing, their so perfect that they haven't had the need to evolve since the dinosaurs. Their perfect killing machines, every one of them. If a shark is pregnant and one of the babies is weak, the other babies will eat it (inside the womb) ensuring perfect offspring.
