Why are women becoming the more promiscuous??

I did not know they were. That doesnt sound like a bad thing if your a single male.

I'm not single. And nah, the men are becoming less.

This starts roughly at my generation, so you older folks might not be able to relate..

 

Why is it that when guys fuck anything that moves it's considered almost normal, but when women fuck around they're considered slutty...?

 

Because the natural drives of people are to eat and fuck.

Obsolete religious customs led men to think of women who had sex before them to be spoiled. This led for a few thousand years of patriarchal societies publicly shunning and sometimes stoning women who indulged basic human nature.

As society becomes more liberal, more people are starting to see this. And fucking more.

 

Unless the women are all fucking each other, they are no more promiscuous than the men.

 

Yes, women and men are more alike than different. It depends on the person - I know some women who are very 'man-like' in their sexual appetite. In retrospect, I prefer my wife - I mean I love a challenge.

 

Because it's more socially acceptable now. Girls are no longer expected to be sweet, innocent, pure little angels... so they take advantage of that. Women are no longer 'the fairer sex', it's that simple.

I think about 50 years ago, if you said 'wow, that girl is really dodgy because she spends so much time with boys her own age', everyone would agree and gasp in shock.

But now if a 16 year old girl gives 15 blow jobs at a party, you hear things like:

'Why is it that when guys fuck anything that moves it's considered almost normal, but when women fuck around they're considered slutty...?'

and then all the guys feel guilty or just think it's more polite to agree, and all the women (I'm exaggerating-- not ALL women) go 'YEAH! YOU TELL EM SISTER!'

You know, I'm not big on double standards but if you ask me it would be better if everyone went the other way into non-sluttiness as opposed to everyone getting trashier and trashier. But ever since the internet porn epidemic, I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

guys (i refuse to call them men) ignore girls (i refuse to call them women) if they aren't all flirtatious and slutty.. it just as much the guys fault as the girls.
you ever notice how a guy will get with a girl because when they first meet she is "wild" and willing to do anything at first.. but then a few months later they're calling her a "psycho" bitch? the clues were there....

a little self respect and self esteem goes a long way.

 

I wasn't trying to mock you or disagree with what you said... I was just using what you said as an example of the kind of thinking that helps to make promiscuity seem more justified.

I just don't really see the problem with girls enjoying things as much as guys, and I don't really see why they get so much shit for it. (of course.. I'm a teenage male, so that's probably a little biased )

 

I think it's a basic fact of life that aggressive people will usually get what they want. And anyway, I definitely don't think non-slutty girls are 'ignored'... they're probably just ignoring the guys who aren't ignoring them, because they also don't stand out, because they're also not being flashy or jockish or whatever.

The same guys you're blaming for going after the slutty woman would probably much rather have some nice girl but they're distracted by the whore, and the girls who would rather have some nice guy are distracted by the players. Unless, of course, they use their heads... but that's not very sexy, is it?

i cant speak for other womens sexual escapades but i havent changed my sexual habits in the 5 years ive been having sex do what or who feels right to you

 

Are they really 'enjoying' themselves?

I can't imagine slutty people ever really enjoying themselves. I think for 99% of young people, sex is an ego thing... or it's like a drug... or a release, or something. I've been in that headspace heaps of times.

Obviously, the fantasy part of sex is really awesome, but the reality of it is more often than not awkward, uncomfortable, uncertain, and messy... not to mention the fact that your head is usually full of thoughts like 'wow, if he/she would just move to the left' or 'well, yeah, this is nice... but maybe it would be better if we switched to doggystyle', or 'yeah, this is good... maybe I'll cum if we keep doing this'.

But everyone says it's great because in reflection you don't think about all of that stuff and only the best bits stick out... and also, being realistic about sex actually isn't all that sexy. But really, if you admit that it's not so glamorous, it sort of helps you figure out what it's all about.

In my opinion, the only good sex is the sex you have when you actually care about someone. It sounds totally corny but it's completely true. I'm not saying you should save yourself for marriage, but at least save yourself for someone you have feelings for... because sex has to mean something, otherwise it starts to feel destructive (which can also be fun, I guess... but not for very long) or like a medical experiment or something.

Also, what's more exciting-- a special rare diamond that can only be found in the hills of the amazon and has rarely been touched by human hand, or that bench by the bus stop that everyone sits on before they get on the bus and leave. I know this sounds mean, but I'm just saying. Guys and girls, here...

because very stupid people who had a certain lifestyle made it to the big time and now thousands of influencial girls feel they have to mimic them or be penalized by thier peers. this has brought a rampant of std's and sti's , but hey, this is now a hedonistic society. so that makes it ok.
