Why can't porn be tasteful?

I don't have a girlfriend at the moment so it would be nice to be able to watch some tasteful sex, but its all kinky and degrading to women, horrible fake orgasms with potty mouth language and you can't do anything but feel guilty watching women get jizzed on for money.

Come on, there must be a market for it, or are men just too disgusting?

 

do you like hardcore or softcore? i know a fairly tasteful website but theres no penetration or anything like that, its only naked lades.

 

I'm not sure, i usually like softcore, but sometimes watching sex gets me pretty excited. In that instance, just nice normal sex would be good.

 

I've heard that Pirates (NOT, of course, the Disney movie, though I could definitely stand watching Johnny Depp and/or Keira Knightley ...) is quite watchable. Many people find domination/submissiveness highly erotic and it's an important part of their sex lives. Porn just reflects this. But it's not all about men degrading women. There's a heck of a lot of porn with women degrading men. And (very popular) is women degrading other women. It's only a bit of fun. These people aren't necessarily actual sexists! They get off on being submissive.

Taste is a highly subjective matter. Everyone has different criteria for what constitutes good taste in porn, and since its only purpose is to arouse the viewer, it can only be judged by the individual based on the effect it has on them. For me, I find porn distasteful if the images are low res, or the photography or lighting is poor. I also find it distasteful if a woman is wearing slutty clothes, or if the woman is not fully clothed to start with. And I just do not like closeup shots at all. But others will look at positions, makeup, dialogue, or roleplaying. But there's no right or wrong, it's just personal taste.

I understand your point, and i will certainly take up your offer to find this so called "women degrading men" stuff. But i am inclined to think that your understating the problem. In the majority of mainstream porn, what we have is not bondage, not routine submissiveness of domination, but clear stereotypical objectification of women. I don't think its a bit of fun at all. I don't argue the existence of this other porn you speak of, but I personally haven't seen any of it, because it obviously accounts for a very small percentage.
