The first one was an accident, the second one was deliberate, and the third one was the result of drinking a bottle of vermouth on our wedding anniversary.

I like kids and so does my wife. She really likes them! Not long after the wedding, it was: "I wanna baby". Then, "I wanna 'nother one". Then another one. The last one turned out to be two. I found out about that twp weeks before they arrived. We had four kids in four years, with twins topping it off! It was pretty amazing watching her nurse them, one on each breast. She wanted more, but I was able to convince her the budget couldn't handle it. Then it was: "I wanna career". And she got one, and we balanced the domestic roles and two professional careers. But it worked, and they're great kids. I wouldn't give up any of them for a minute. And I hope the payoff will be some care and visitation when we hit those "golden years".
