Why Do Punks Hate Hippys

what do you have to do to be a punk? i like lots of older punk music and most people i know dont even know it. i dont give a fuck who you are as long as youre straight with me

 

i smoked a couple bowls with some sillllly ass punk kids earlier today, talkin about some ugh rich is such a high class guy when they are rocking some vans and some new clothes they just bought and ripped up and decorated with a ton of patches and buttons which cost a handfull of money probably, lol, what can i say i used to be one of them but i was never hating on any high class dude, was always just really good natured, haha..they seemed to be cool with me though , even before i offered the bowl smokeage, maybe that will fix them up a little bit eh?... its just craziness though, its a disease, a disease of planet earth, whoo thats a mind fuck but its so true, our minds is so corrupted and blinded from so much truth and as a whole were like a case of the fleas on mother earth.. OO LOOK AT DAT booty, the real booty is in the transcendence of love and desire, and thats where its really at, not everyone else THINKS its at, EVERYONE! its called growth and maybe soul progression and good karma and love, you all should try it out sometime, probably like it, the universe is pullin for us, thats for sure.

we aint evolved or love and it dont look like we is anytime soon, hell it is even possible humans dont make it through all this. so the other magical beings and possibilities will have to be put on hold for now me guess and the future is such an infathomable thing anyway. we just have to keep dreaming up beautiful things and tryin to stay beautiful ourselves in a world tryin to make us anything but.

on a side note, i dont hate em perse, but i see em sometimes and i just think their so,,, lost??? their all dressed up and makin themselves look crazy to everybody, in the name of???? what DO you all stand for, spikes and spiky hair? having the satisfaction of portraying some crazy violent image? idk, i dont understand it. the punk scene use to have something to it i think, they were truely into rebellion, but now today it seems more a fashion statement, but whats a spike and a costume without something behind it? maybe some do sense somethings really fucking wrong with the world and a lot of shit, i know i do, but maybe they cant articulate it and really develop the ideas as strong as they really could cuz society and their worlds are not allowin them that growth?hmmm

Why..? I don't know.. most of punkers I know STAND hippies.. and I don't care, coz I'm not 100% hippie, even not a 100% punker.. so I am with both.. (though closer I'm to hippies..)
So i think punkers DON'T hate hippies..
but those people from Oi music... oh yeah, those don't like hippies.

I'm a punk (with a bit of old school rocker thrown in every now and then), my ex was a hippy, my current girlfriend is new romantic. Who cares what people were or the music they listen to? long as their decent people thats all that matters

probably not, but I think that has to do with musical preference, not because they hate each other.

I have tons of punk/ goth/ ska/ reggae type friends. We all listen to different music, but we all share the same heart.

i know this punk chick who thinks it's great that their are still nature-loving hippies in our world and she's cool with that, but then i know this other punk chick and she doesn't really like hippies and peace and stuff like that, though she thinks she does, but she doesn't cuz she's always starting fights and such at school.

both are for a revolution ...so we can be friends....but if one day the revolution win... probably another fight will start ...because both are for a change...but not the same change...

I'm a hippie if i ve got to choose...a good old dirty hippie of 68 not one of those rich hippie of 76 ...

The best is to hear together the freaks of Hawkwind ...(a 70's prog rock band)...
that a lot of Hippie and Punk like a lot ...

i think its cos punks and hippys are quite different i mean punks r all bout anarchy and stuff and hippies r all about peace
