Why is everyone on this forum depressed?

Why is everyone on this forum depressed? It's like practically everyone on here has been depressed/is depressed/has cut themselves/ is or was on medication for depression. Wt? Is this normal? Out of all my friends, I've only known one to be diagnosed depressed...
