Why is everyone so concerned?

About their reps. I just realized they exsisted really. And everyone gets mad if you give them a bad one. Do you really care that much what others think of you?

 

I haven't noticed that people are really concerned about what people think of them, i know there have been a crapload of threads about them recently

 

i just wondering what was the big deal about them...

 

I think it's fun... I'm not like "omg omg I need rep or I'll die" I just think it's amusing, and entertaining, and I like to give people rep if they've said something clever. All in good fun. As for bad rep... well I've never given anyone bad rep (I figure that's what karma's for) but I guess if someone disagrees with someone else's post, they have the right to let them know, yes? *shrug*

 

i do enjoy seeing the comments people put, some of them are really funny!!

 

yes..i guess...i am not to into this thing yet i guess...but i never like to give anyone any bad things..that would just upset someone for no reason i think

 

People are concerned about their rep because that's probably all they have to live for -- what a bunch of people on the internet think of them.

 

I gauge my level of social-acceptability from the reputation points I get from here. If I get a negative rep, I know I must be doing something wrong in real life because I act exactly the same on the internet as I do in person, then I change my behavior accordingly. It has helped me tremendously. Now I finally have friends.

I love getting negative rep which is truly honest. Getting someone pissed on a bloody forum can be fun. I cannot beleive how seriously you take this crap.

 

Cause it's a "status quo". Like having a really nice car or owning a house. Some peeps just want to fit in. I'm all set w/ having ONLY 95 rep points, but I'm not gonna complain if someone gives me more. Smell me cookin' man?

hehe..just kidding. I'm more into comments than into reps.. For me, a bad rep with a good comment is better than a good rep with a bad one. Although, a good rep with a good comment would, like, totally ROCK!!!
