2- it's so hard because no one ever DOES see your other posts- I am very anti Republican, and anti Libertarian as well, and to clarify no my god I'd never vote for Sarah Palin, my view on this are coming not from a political perspective at all, so hopefully that clarifies things a bit!

 

Well now,I never heard anything about someone making fun of her kids or grand kids. I personally would think that would be way below the belt,if true. Yes --you provided me with an opportunity to facetiously critisize the right wing. It's one of the great joys of my life. I welcome the opportunity to hear you tell me what I'm blind to. And I am so sorry- I apologize too- I should clarify - I used that shocking statement meaning to say that words like that would be an example of "hateful garbage" - but it was way to extreme an example, im sorry I shouldn't have used something so hyperbolic- and I didn't mean to suggest I felt that way about him!

 

By the way, I agree with scratcho -- I've never heard anyone say anything nasty about her family. Why go there? I think there are plenty of serious, substantive reasons to hope her political career is over.

What was her pregnant teen daughter a victim of? Her mothers neglect? And the Downs baby Sara had? What is she a victim of besides her mothers irresponsibly having a child at her age.

A few liberals, in the entertainment business, made jokes about her family. Big deal. That what they do. Lame justifications for categorizing 'libs' as hate mongers.
Most people cant stand her because she quit her job as governor to write and market her book. Now she is a populist living off campaigning. Who'd have thought there's good money in running for office?
Most people cant stand her because she preaches morality and her daughter gets knocked up.

 

Well, in my opinion there's never an excuse to mock an innocent family member of a politician... I don't care if it's Chelsea Clinton or Bristol Palin, it is cruel for the media to unleash their fangs at a family member of the politician...and if you are saying that Bristol became pregnant because Palin neglected her, I would still insist that it is still obviously no excuse for anyone in the media to make Bristol a laughing stock or target of media bullying.
And I will say this, as far as preaching morality and her daughter getting 'knocked up', the most harrowing part would have been the ordeal of the pregnancy under the conditions where an entire society is mocking your pregnancy, and showing you no compassion whatsoever, all because they hate your mother. Now tell me, where is the compassion in that? I think Sarah Palin is an ass as well, but my heart broke for Bristol- first she is the victim of growing up in the Palin household, and then, instead of many empathizing with her, they seemed to just make her "guilty by association" and that had to be brutal.

 

I used to listen to limbaugh sometimes,just to get my blood circululating, but when a caller to his show mentioned something about the Clintons not having a dog in the White House,he said the Clintons DID have a dog--Chelsea--- I knew then what kind of a person he was at his core. I remember when Carter was president and Billy Carter was caught stopping his car and going over to a building and pissing on the side of it. The press treated him as a redneck clown. I think he may have been. He made himself fair game with his antics.
