Why people do not reply to your text sometimes.

Why is it that when you are in a relationship or you just start seeing someone new that girls sometime do not reply to your text after you have text them. I hate it when you text a girl to say have a nice day or have a nice day and you have a nice smile and you do not get a reply back from them.

 

Yeah, that's not cool. It's no way to treat people.

 

maybe she doesn't have a phone with unlimited everything and she can't send anymore texts for the month. or maybe she gets so many text messages that she doesn't care to look at the text. or she is busy and she forgot.

 

do you just say "have a nice day" out of nowhere, or is it at the end of a conversation. if it's the latter, she could assume you're saying goodbye and that the conversation is over. someone has to not reply at some point or the conversation will just go on forever, after all.

if it's the former, it's probably one of the things already mentioned. or the text didn't go through.

 

Because for some people text messaging is an irritating exercise in frustration - especially when one has shit to do and they get thirty text messages every day about meaningless, small talk, bullshit . . . Ah but I might be inserting myself into this scenario so pay no mind.

 

Yeah it is annoying, and slightly disrespectful in my opinion, if 72 hours go by and they don't even bother to make a simple one word reply.

In the short term I don't take offense because what if they're working, driving, their phone is out of battery.

But like after a few days I get kinda annoyed, especially if what I had to communicate to them was not "small talk" and was more work/school related and is therefore time sensitive.

 

Maybe she thinks you are weird and creepy.

 

I've a friend like that, if the text doesn't have a question in it he needs to answer, he doesn't. Which actually makes sens when you think about it (but yeah sometimes, it can be rude)

 

I don't text.

I have never answered a single text message. Ever.

 

If you think it impolite and uncomfortable, then you shouldn't get into a relationship with that kind of girl. You know, we should comprise a lot of stuff in a relationship and this is just a little start.

 

Well it properly depents on what you are texting.. I'm bad at texting myself and if I get a text just saying "have nice day" I might not be super motivated (or what ever) to answer it. Of cause I am happy that someone is thinking about me but.. What I am basically trying to say is don't think to much about it.. unless she never answers..

 

this sounds like bullshit...now adays almost all phoen plans are unlimited and also if the girl lieks the guy she'll reply no matter how many txts she gets....

Come on, if you're that upset about it, tell her! It's a very easy habit to change. I know for me, I turn my phone to silent during classes then sometimes forget to turn it back to ring afterward, so I don't even see that I have a message until much later. But really...small things?

 

I am the queen of not responding.

Usually its because I have nothing to say in response.

Give her something to respond to...

For instance: "My balls are turning green for some reason. What do you think this could be?"
