    why are mushrooms soo expensive?
acid is soo cheap around here its like 5-10$ a hit
and rolls are 15-20$ which isnt bad
but then mushrooms are 40 for an eigth
and spending 40 dollers on one night too trip is expensive

i was looking on google and theres all these sites based in holland that have big bags full of like 750 grams of mushrooms for like 150 whitch is probably like 300 in US money. and all the sites say "we dont hav time to check the legal status in every country" soo thats saying that they will ship too the US. theres a bunch of the sites just google it. are these sites scams?

how much are mushrooms by you?
oh and i live in the suburbs soo theres not realy anywhere to grow them or pick them.

I'd be surprised if mushrooms made it through customs. They're pretty thourough in making sure illegal drugs aren't shipped accross the ocean. I once tried to have beef sent to me in Japan from the US, but the Japanese authorities witheld it because of the foot-and-mouth thing. They probably use x-rays, and if anything looks suspicious, they'll open the package up; if they do the worst that'll happen is you'll get a call saying your package was confiscated.

LSD would be easier since it's just paper.

If you want mushrooms cheap, grow them yourself (inside). $15 will get you a spore syringe, and as long as you don't screw up the growing process, the yields are pretty high most of the time. If growing isn't an option, sorry :\. You'll just have to spend lotsa cash.

this might be a stupid question but ill ask it anyways
is it possible to grow a small amount of mushrooms lets say in a shoe box or box in my closet without my perants being able to smell it or it being obvious?

Go to Shroomery.org and start looking into it. It's not all too simple, but at the same time it is, though you have to be EXTREMELY careful. Any sort of mold or bacterial infection will ruin your crop.

I've grown them with some success. If I were to sell them I'd sell for $40 an eighth simply because of what I have to go through to do it.

    <3 shrooms.

If your parents are always around and poke around your room alot then no. How ever if you can get a few hours to your self for each setp ect and they don't go in your room at all, then yes however still risky. Just be smart about it, or if they don't know about drug much say it's a science fair project about helping the eco system or something to that effect.

They are expensive in your area because the demand is high enough that people will pay it. That, and people are greedy. I say they are greedy because someone with a little growing experience under their belt can produce 4 lbs per grow with about $200 equipment. This 4 lbs will then sell for $4500, which comes out to about $8.75 an 1/8.

A lot of people don't even believe in selling mushrooms. These people tend to live in areas where they grow naturally.

Around here (Arizona) they go for 30-35, an 1/8.

if i wer to grow them in a shoe box would it smell bad?
    would the smell be noticible?
like weed plants reek ( a lovely reek lol) but ive never seen someone grow shrooms soo i dont know.

my perants occasionaly go in my room but they dont go through any of my stuff ever.

can you grow them in just a small jar or shoebox?

ive researched it a bit but it all seems very confusing and new too me soo hopefully someone can simplify the process?

if i were too decide to grow them...where would be a good place to get supplies around north chicago suburbs? or would i hav to order them online too someones house whos perants dont care?

You need a closet. You'd have to heat it to 80-84 degrees. Not going to happen in your parents house.

Mushrooms are so expensive because they are a pain in the ass to grow. Outdoor shrooms are still cheap, but not available everywhere, and they usually suck.

    That's my two cents.
